  1. Such is my disinterest that I didn’t follow the game, didn’t even know who we were playing and had no clue until now that we only had one game left this season. Mowbrayball has killed my passion for it, just caught up and I see that Holtby is leaving and Bell potentially staying, I don’t have too strong an opinion about either but the fact that it’s Mowbray making those calls is depressing, a new man should have been in weeks ago to assess the current squad ahead of the summer. Will we finish 14th, 18th or somewhere in between? Will we release season ticket prices? Will more than 5000 fans care enough to commit to next season?
  2. It’s just that reporter chap relaying the kits Joe Harvey mocked up, seems Macron is the maker though
  3. No chance that’s accurate, Dolan may have come in around that but he’s not agreed a new deal on £600 a week when he was scoring goals in the first team.
  4. Said for years that I think Ainsworth will be here at some point and I think it will be this summer. We approached him a few years back but he wanted to do right by Wycombe, his job is now done there you’d think if the right offer comes along
  5. Very brave of them to stand up against it - after it’s already started crumbling
  6. Red button commentator keeps getting bored and just stops doing his job for a while, to be honest I respect that
  7. That sums Trebor up, goes to control it, misses it and ends up hitting him in the face
  8. Could have been 4-0 by now, they are much the better team, and they are shocking
  9. Thought Evans could have seen red then, won the ball but the other foot is super high
  10. Horrifically boring stuff this Turgid tripe edit - 1-0 to them
  11. Genuinely couldn’t care less, road to nowhere Mowbray Out
  12. Interesting discussion about who has developed this season: Kaminski - undoubtedly now worth more than we signed him for you’d think Pears - no comment Nyambe - not progressed due to the management of him, now worth less due to contract Lenihan - nope Ayala - funny Wharton - was actually showing development then broke Bell - nope and worth zero now anyway JRC - not really, spent a lot of the season injured and contract running down Dolan - definitely worth more than signed for Buckley - may have developed slightly this year Johnson - nope Evans - nope (lol) Davenport - nope Chapman - may be able to be sold for what we signed him for once we trigger his contract Rothwell - will leave for cheap or nothing Gallagher - LOL Brereton - LOL Holtby - nope Armstrong - potentially a big money player now with a short contract so probably worth similar to last year Dack - broken Douglas / Big bad branthwaite / Elliot / HTB - nicely given game time to Liverpool and City’s young lads to help them develop So with the talk of player development what has this season actually achieved?
  13. We were never going up and never going down so it doesn’t matter apparently Why bother?
  14. I actually think he will be, I think we’ll win a couple of games and he’ll leave on mutual terms before fans come back into grounds.
  15. The fact that we are even considering the possibility that the likes of Rotherham and Coventry could drag us into the relegation mix is hugely damning of Mowbray. A shocking season that needs to end sharpish along with his reign. He can leave proudly with us ever so slightly above when he joined
  16. Oh bloody Nora, Lancs Live now writing filler pieces with xG (and xA....) as the source https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/bradley-dack-injury-impact-return-20375848.amp?__twitter_impression=true
  17. Yeah but if you ignore the results, and the performances then the ‘numbers’ show we are doing well I believe the team that finishes outside the top ten with the highest xG goes into the preliminary rounds for the Intertoto cup and gets a £25 Subway voucher
  18. xG is just a silly pseudo science, this isn’t baseball, cricket or American Football, stats to that level of detail just don’t tell the story in football. We may have won 1 in 15 but the ‘numbers’ suggest we are better, no, it doesn’t work like that. Whatever numbers; stats or whatever you want to overlay the proof is irrefutable, the manager is not getting the results.
  19. My worry is we will win 2-3 on the bounce at the end of the season and all will be forgotten. ‘he should be given the chance to build on it’ etc etc will ring around the Twittersphere
