  1. I’d have Armstrong in the team but today forced Mowbray to try something else, it forced his hand to throw Dolan in and play Dack in behind. Why he’s been resistant to before I’m not sure. If we’d not had Armstrong I think we’d have less points but in this recent run I’m not sure if other options would have suited Dack and us better Mowbray has a goalscorer in Arma and one of the leagues brightest individual players in Dack, he has to find a way to get them firing together, and for me id like Dolan to be in the mix as well
  2. Everything seems that much rosier after a win. I said before the game Tony was throwing a Hail Mary; you set yourself up for a beating if it doesn’t come off, it was ballsy and it paid off, fair play to him. Risking the ire of @roversfan99 I am one that thinks we benefited from Armstrong’s absence today, Dolan took his chance to show the problems he can cause and others came into their own as well. Armstrong is a very tidy forward and his output this season is unquestionable but having a plan B has been missing this season.
  3. Sounds like Buckley came to life before being subbed
  4. JRC out for extra stretches at half time goes off, hopefully not another Mowbray special in keeping a struggling player on
  5. Dolan showing why it’s ridiculous he doesn’t get more starts
  6. I remember a game last season where there was a similarly bonkers line up, I think we ended up winning. The kind of decision that can go spectacularly wrong and you look inept or it’s a master stroke somehow
  7. Both local reporters saying they’ve been told its Dolan up top. It’s kind of delightfully bonkers that line up, feels like a Hail Mary from Mowbray! awful management with Armstrong though and not for the first time he’s left an injured player on who then can’t play the next game
  8. Was it Samba that had a big house extension to fund whilst here? I seem to remember a story about it
  9. 15 points from the playoffs, 8 points from the drop zone! Although when Mowbray does leave I’m not mentally prepared for Dunn’s name to be touted around, I can’t see it now, ‘local lad’ ‘knows the club’ etc
  10. I can’t ever compare Mowbray with Kean personally. The hatred we had of Kean and his snivelling lies still haunts me. The day he left was one of celebration and rejoice, the pubs were packed before the next home game, the evil had been defeated yet the big bad was still there. When Mowbray goes I’ll feel a bit positive about change whilst being trepidatious but I won’t feel glee. Tony is in danger of or already is overstaying his natural welcome but he’ll leave with good wishes from me, Kean can rot.
  11. He’s rambling here, no train of thought and going from sound byte to sound byte in his interview. I think it’s best that he walks, we all leave the good memories alone and move on
  12. Lots of talk on Twitter about us dominating possession and if we lose Tony will say the same but it’s meaningless. They’ve been happy to sit and let us have the ball since their goal, the possession means absolutely nothing
  13. Raw but Dolan is causing more problems for them than Elliot did by far
  14. Once again our own corner results in a needed yellow for one of ours; idiotic stuff
  15. Never handball, ever. Feel Bell getting more stick than warranted, he’s an accident waiting to happen but actually been involved starting a lot of our attacks. Tom Trebor is rubbish though
  16. Remember when there were no alternatives to Mowbray, Cardiff on their way to yet another big win
  17. Mowbray won’t mind to be fair, ‘individual mistakes’ are like a force field for him
