  1. In fairness I thought the luck went against us today with the deflected goal, our goals were both sheer class and we defended resolutely throughout
  2. Ha ha not quite - the old prescription sunglasses - still couldn’t read the team on the big screen mind! Cracking being back in there as well thanks to a generous offer today, really itching to get a season ticket again
  3. Boys are back in town pre kick off? Anyway I’m ignoring you as you blanked me today - rude
  4. Absolutely stonking win I never felt too nervous in injury time (well until Buckleys horror pass in the last minute) we handled that superbly
  5. Unlucky Ash, should never have come to that though we gave it away too easily leading to the corner
  6. Stunning goal, on the balance West Brom maybe edging it but it counts for nothing Pickering is a worry; they are targeting him and beating him every time
  7. Those clauses are awful. In the case of Poveda it could have resulted in coming on instead of the likes of Dolan purely to avoid triggering a ‘fine’ it’s a dangerous path to go down
  8. Good news the stadium is unaffected I’m up on green hills off Livesey branch road and most people here had nothing for 24 hours now
  9. I can’t stand football like that second goal, as funny as it is passing it from the back through the middle on a goal kick is just ridiculous
  10. Shows how much I know, I saw the VDB link and thought it was that chap from Sheffield United
  11. Tyler Magloire’s finest moments were running around at half time and throwing the towels into the stand
  12. I got confused with all the reference to Hartlepools and thought we were discussing Bristols
  13. Transfers are crazy and you never know but I think £2-£3m is more likely that £7-£8m Wasn’t Tosin even less than that? Lower fees with big sell on clauses likely
  14. Huge shout out to Edun, we’d done brilliant to get to 2-0 but had that gone in it would have been a nervy ending Overall seems brilliant use of subs with Dolan getting an assist I hope we can make a habit of seeing games out this way
  15. Could use another 2 subs yet (in one go) but seems likely
  16. Oh get in Hedges is an assist machine
  17. Michael Hector still without a club? Not sure how much he’s dipped but only 30 and was huge for Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham a year or two back
  18. ❌ I won’t allow it, Morton was first through the door Fud!
  19. Nice work, a couple more bodies in and I feel Sammie will be great here, hopefully make any talk of the fee academic CB next please
  20. He got booked for doing something then did the exact same again, bang to rights, he’s a waster
  21. Dack is class, he won’t lose that and will always be an asset, he showed with his assist to Dolan last season that his intuition isn’t dulled He has to be careful though, this club has been good to him and he needs to be patient and put the work in to make sure he’s fully fit
  22. Brilliant stuff, what a result, I thought Germany were edging it most of the game but we showed real resilience, the keeper helped by being solid with everything that came her way
  23. Noted, but he deserved two yellows for knocking the ball away twice I recall someone getting sent off against Rovers for similar, want to say Micky Quinn
  24. Not championship but Lee Tomlin is an absolute disgrace On his debut for Doncaster yesterday, he got himself sent off at 0-0 on the stroke of half time First he kicked the ball away a bit from Smallwood who was about to take a free kick. Ref booked him, he didn’t move then did it again, at this point a Hull player approached and stood on his foot slightly so Tomlin threw himself to the ground. Ref casually walked over and gave him a second yellow. He looked like he was actively trying to get sent off ala Alonso and Ramos under Mourinho that time If he respects fans that little he should just retire
