  1. Randomly off topic here but how long has lancs live been around, is it an actual print paper or an online thing only? I only ask because it seems only recent that we’ve had two local journos both being fed the same stories
  2. Good player but obviously done something very wrong for them to release him like that, he’s deleted his Instagram as well, got to be a police issue or drug test or worse
  3. This line from the Telegraph article shows how shambolic our recruitment has become That leaves Rovers still in the market for two new central defenders, but they face starting the season without any new signings at the back for the third successive year.
  4. This is concerning now, there doesn’t seem to be any obvious momentum or rush to get anyone in and Tony more often than not is cautious with new signings so we are going to be short on quality in certain areas. poor show really we’ve long known the focus areas and not doing a good job addressing them
  5. It all seems very obvious doesn’t it No world beater but better than the options we have, just hope it’s because there is better lined up and imminent
  6. Magloire JRC Dolan Buckley Chapman These young lads on the brink all are showing a fearless potential, let’s play them and give them the chance to shine rather than being scared
  7. Fizzled out but class to see Dolan and Chapman forcing mistakes, hope we see this in the league but doubt it
  8. Buckley and Davenport both look better than Johnson in the Johnson role, wonder how far down the order both are Dolan seems wasted centrally he needs to be able to run at them
  9. I think it’s a shame for the lad but shows he could do with a loan and some game time
  10. Clever Though Rothwell, Dolan and Chapman, all flair players vying to be involved, let’s see if any of them make a claim
  11. Bloody hell Nyambe is destroying them, can’t believe some want to sell him on the cheap before his contract runs out He’s a crown Jewell
  12. Magloire and JRC the high points here Awaiting the Choudary Travis scrap
  13. We look like Chile and it looks good to me
  14. That doesn’t invalidate the point though it could be worn with no issues as clearly demonstrated, they don’t for commercial reasons
  15. It’s fine, don’t love it or hate it Bonus is the shorts are blue meaning we can wear the home shirt with blue shorts if needed - not that they will probably
  16. Jb did name the name he was given, I assume that’s where that twitter account picked up the Gorrín link
  17. Bristol statement: https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/season-cards-update/ The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted us all and has meant that we have all had to adjust to many unwanted and difficult situations. With this in mind we have put together the following offer which we believe strikes the right balance between helping our fans support the club they love whilst also offering them financial recompense for not being able to be physically in the stadium with us. All current 2020/21 Season Card holders will receive a pro-rata refund for each home game played behind closed doors The first pro-rata refund, to cover the Bristol City v Coventry City fixture on September 12th, will be processed on Monday, September 7th and refunds will take between three to five business days to appear depending on your bank Robins TV matchday passes are available to buy for £10 (price set by the EFL) and stream packages will be available to purchase for home and midweek away games For home games that have been selected for Sky TV, all Season Card holders will receive a FREE streaming pass code which will be emailed ahead of the game AND will also receive a pro-rata refund for the match
  18. I don’t like to criticise those at Ewood as I know there’s some really good guys trying there. However I find Waggotts words a bit insulting, the club are losing income so they want our support to the tune of increased prices. They even acknowledge it’s tough times for people personally, there’s people who have lost jobs and had to take pay cuts etc, real life issues to contend with yet we ‘are all in this together’ ie ‘you pay more or feel the guilt’
  19. But most under 18’s aren’t going alone and will be going with a parent who has had an increase to subsidise
  20. Well we got some communications I suppose I don’t pretend to understand the financial landscape and commercial aspects of all this and the challenges the guys are facing so I won’t say too much however the ‘we are committed’ mantra didn’t go down well and not sure this one will either
