I tell you what is a crying shame though, the loss of the 'old' Spread Eagle at Mellor. There really was nowhere to touch it locally before they sold it to Greene King. Does anyone know if the old proprietors (and more importantly the chef) have pitched up somewhere else?

I'll be honest with you, I've been a couple of times over the last 12 months and I think it's poor and overpriced

4/6 on bet 365. Wonder if Waggott is on Skybet's payroll.... -

I'm not generally glass half full but blimey, some on here make Leonard Cohen sound optimistic. Yes a shit result but not unexpected if we're honest. Still 8 games to go and if we win 4 we will make the playoffs, more than doable and we'd have to be odds on rather than against to make it. -
Just back, very proud of the team today, if there is one thing JDT and thus group of players have done, it's to get that connection back with the supporters. Two evenly matched teams and we were so so unlucky to come out of it on the wrong side but it is a horrible place to lose, as it was in '93 - shithouse club and fans. Great support from us that made for a great atmosphere, the fans were a credit to the club today. Hopefully this kicks us on for the rest of the season rather than us dwell on the disappointment.

Mate at work is a Stokie he reckons all 3 will be signed as their FFP has been reset. They'll be bang up there next year.

Great result and I thought, apart from poor finishing, we played well. The worry of Morton replacing Buckley was unfounded as he was obviously told to play it quicker and our intensity levels were right where they needed to be from the get go. I wouldn't have made the subs JDT made but they were spot on and Hedges in particular was excellent. Just 4 more wins needed now. -

For all JDT stalkers he'll be having his hair cut at 10am tomorrow at Kellie Hughes's salon in Whalley. -
It's all about getting to 73 points, that'll be enough for the play offs. 30 points to play for, need to bag half of them.

Worth mentioning that Stoke looked a good side tonight regardless of how shit we were. Got a good manager and look like they have a good style of play going forward. I think they will end this season well and go close next year. -

Can't go overboard on aerial monster Gallagher's goal, I'm pretty sure it came off his shoulder -

All about getting to 73 points, that should be enough for top 6. Hopefully this result and performance leads to a reality check. -

Might be easy to hate him but Ben Pearson is the midfielder we are crying out for -

So so poor all over the pitch. Anyone of those players could be hooked at half time and it be justified. I do worry that some of our players go missing when it gets on top though, especially in that midfield area -

Half a yard off it and losing all the 50/50s. Got to get in at only 1 down and regroup -
It's hard to pick out on the video, to be fair it looks like the bang to the head as he went down did for him Agreed on the rest, just a tragic outcome.

Yeah, it's well known to all, can't believe the police weren't there in numbers. The bloke who died is one of the old 'Muckers', one row too far for the poor bloke.

Sad news this, he was there for the tear up but nobody deserves that. Seen the video, looks like he was done with a pint glass...seems like a weapon of choice for the Dingle hoolies after what happened to the Forest fan some years back.

Yep, I was one who had written him off. However, in this pressing style where have suddenly adopted there is no-one better at leading it from the front. Add to that his knack of being on the end of good chances and I'm more than willing to admit I was wrong on him. In fact, I'd go as far as to say he's becoming a key player for us. -

Agreed, the guy is a complete nobody and got more jam than Hartleys to have got that gig. He'll be scratching around for something in the lower leagues when he's potted in the next 12 months. -

Teams wise it's the 2nd best draw we could've got, not ideal being away but nothing to be too disheartened about. Be good to get revenge for 1993 as well. -
