  1. Strange that, as you constantly touted him when he was at Gillingham.
  2. They struggle to pass a football never mind pass go.
  3. And why would Swansea, a team that is hardly free scoring, want shut? To be honest, there's no point debating anyway, with the pillock we have in charge Messi and Ronaldo would struggle.
  4. It won't though will it? He won't get us promoted and we won't sell him on for a profit so he's a signing that lets us tread water. As for 10 goals a season, as a striker, I'd bloody well hope so!!
  5. Seen a bit of Jamal Lowe and, for what it's worth, I think he's shit.
  6. I'm sure the workaholic head of recruitment has got everything in hand. No need to worry.
  7. You'd get more out of wee Jocky now, and he's been dead for a decade.
  8. Neither is answering the phone to potential sponsors and commercial partners but he finds that more difficult than trying to railroad planning permission through? Come on Gav, the guy is a proper shithouse and completely on the take.
  9. And the 'workaholic' head of recruitment
  10. Biggest question is, who was the driving force behind the biggest potential downgrade of them all, the sale of the training ground?
  11. That's worrying. I might disagree with some of your points of view but I appreciate your eye for a player. For what it's worth and from what I've seen of him so far I think he's a run of the mill full back playing a level above his ability.
  12. No doubt Stuart, he has to go. But this was what I predicted before the season, I can see it happening as it sets the seal on the Brockhall sale.
  13. Anyone else think they might try to sneak a contract extension in after our good start?
  14. I was enjoying watching the celebrations there and then up pops Stig of the dump with his clipboard on the screen to ruin it
  15. Great first ball in from Chapman for the goal too. Has looked lively since his introduction so kudos to Mowbray for that.
  16. That Colback is a proper bad un. Like a ginger J- Lo
  17. Ah, the 60 yard diag to nobody, a bit like the full back dink down the line. The staple of the defenders who want to play like Bobby Moore and end up looking like Demi Moore.
  18. To be honest, if he was dead it's the best chance of us signing him.
  19. Yes he put the goal on Instagram. Definitely still feels an attachment to the club, good lad.
  20. Rover6, he was a boyo wasn't he. He was big on getting young players into the team from the academy if I remember correctly. To be fair to him, he was never afraid to voice an unpopular opinion and always put them across with good reasoning. He was a good poster - is he still on here under another 'name'?
  21. Good result against a streetwise, physical side that, on paper, you would expect us to struggle against. Not seen much of him but the lad Butterworth looks like he has quite a bit about him. On the flipside, Pickering looks like he's a level below this standard. Need to keep picking up points before injuries kick in because there isn't much depth beyond the first 13 or 14 players.
