  1. He's wandering into Kean territory here...
  2. The master poacher of the Pirelli
  3. Always a good quality to look for in a CM is being able to run. That'll weed out a few.
  4. For me we need to start moving the ball forward quicker and stop fannying with it.
  5. Hard to get excited with that dead loss in the dugout I'm afraid.
  6. That was hilarious!!! What a bad un he is.
  7. I was there in those years, as you were Gav, and, in spite of us being completely skint, we competed at the right end of the table more often than not and had managers who talked us up rather than down. Add that to players and management that patently cared and the comparison between back then and now is like night and day.
  8. The Facebook lot are just happy we aren't Bury, Bolton or Wigan because of our 'fantastic' owners. It's completely lost on them that this mid table inertia and spiralling debt year on year means that, in time, we will be. Maybe then they'll look back fondly on the 'stagnation years' while walking round the new Aldi sited on what once was Ewood Park.
  9. The postal votes from dead rovers fans haven't been dumped yet
  10. Well it's not 'good game good game'
  11. It's hard to know who exactly, just had choice words and was clearly pissed off with being hooked.
  12. I actually thought that myself when he was subbed and ripped into those on the bench.
  13. Maybe I misunderstood the context because it definitely reads like an excuse for the manager during the exchanges with Mercer and arbitro.
  14. Fair post and you've shown more bollocks than most to say something that has been at odds with your previous point of view. However, I have to ask why you have u-turned only a matter of hours after backing him to enter the transfer market to sign more players?
  15. I'd rather be on a coach in Sweden at the minute. Especially if it was driven by The Palma Violets tour manager.
  16. Oh dear.....my view for what it's worth Travis effective without the ball, not so with it. Downing slow and ponderous Pears is fucking crap Tempo and urgency completely non-existent Buckley out of position, ineffective and not looking to impact the game Brereton poor and we're in danger of overrating him just because he doesn't fall over every time he gets the ball Trybull neat and tidy Bell is Bell Dolan looks our main threat Dack looks every inch a player who has missed 12 months of football Just gutted I took Donny out of my acca at the last minute when they were a tasty 4/1
  17. On many occasions you have stated there are no excuses this season not to make the playoffs yet now there are?!! However, 3/4 injuries in a key position is a little unlucky but my question would be why 'only' 4 CBs in the squad with the injury records they have? One would also have to ask why we have at least 10 players who can play CM yet are threadbare at the back?
  18. Not sure on that step up Sparks but I will say confidently he'll have a better career in the game than Buckley. I'll also add that I'm a tad disappointed we haven't signed him, we haven't got a dominant CM and I think he could've fit the bill from what I've seen.
  19. I work with a load of cod heads and pass owner Andy Pilley's house every day. Let's just say he has a colourful past and he and Barton are birds of a feather.
  20. Good win as expected when TM needs one. 3 more points towards the inevitable mid table finish.
  21. Once in a lifetime.....a Gallagher good game
