  1. The dismissive in me says we've been today's team for years, bullied, not up for a fight, beaten by a nothing team. The realist in me says this team has nothing tangible to work for, they are reliant on Steve Fucking Waggott to get anything sorted, I can't say anymore than that.
  2. From his social media post tonight stating he is getting surgery to be fit for pre season says he won't be here next season. The joys of short term contracts is players need to look after themselves.
  3. I'm 100% with you on this, there is some absolute dross in the Premier League (most of them are at United) and I have always thought that surely there are better and cheaper options in the Championship!
  4. I don't think masses actually gets out to the press from this club. I'd say unleaded on here comes up with way more accurate, earlier news than anybody in the press. JDT and Eustace all came without many press reports. There is a decent chance it is nobody mentioned on here due to most info coming from that arsehole Nixon. I'll give any manager a chance, my frustration is how slow it is due to what a good chance we have this season.
  5. We quite simply needed to get a high quality (expensive) short term manager in. Trying his best to get the club into the play offs. We couldn't afford to let this chance slip, we have. Next season we will be back to being a relegation favourite and needing to completely rebuild the team, that is 2 different managers.
  6. I would genuinely be intrigued where he goes. If I remember rightly Nyambe didn't actually get a club until the next season started.
  7. If he goes, I hope for his sake he has a better agent than Ryan Nyambe had! Dolan will leave with a similar amount of appearances as Nyambe did, probably a more recognised name in the league though.
  8. Players being frozen out happens up and down the country, I'm all for Rovers leadership bashing but in Sigurdsson's case I have no issues at all. If anything I'd say he has hardballed (which he is more than entitled to do) us by sitting out January and highly likely left yesterday with a better deal than he was offered in a January for a contract termination. The lads body simply wasn't up to the pace and physicality of the Championship.
  9. I'm happy for Forshaw. He is regarded as a solid pro in the game and it must be pretty humiliating to be told you can go away by a club in the relegation places ... he looked to enjoy the goal!
  10. Me too, I'm saying they will be very much expecting him to keep them up.
  11. I can't say I know much about Derbys finances, but if they are paying half a million in compensation I'd say they are banking on getting Championship revenue not League One revenue next season.
  12. I really did rate Eustace, he will do what he does best by making them more organised. I'm intrigued to see how his does battling relegation without Sammie Szmodics.
  13. Absolute class from the boys. Love it!! Makhtar Gueye's heat map positioning tonight will just show the whole pitch on fire!
  14. I've had one too many rants at the state of our set pieces for karma to not make this come true!!
  15. I wish the person who penned the statement put so much passion into demanding funds from the owners.
  16. If I'm being honest, I could make peace with JDT's exit as I still held a belief that nobody is bigger than the club and he was just an empty vessel going through the motions. I like Eustace and actually hold him in very high respect, his probable exit has just made me double down that the club is the empty vessel now.
  17. If not Derby it will be somebody else between now and the raft of early season September/October sackings. I watched the Andy Bayes (excellent) interview from yesterday and it screamed of JDT at the end, it was "me and the players" when anything was collectively mentioned and always separated them from upstairs.
  18. In terms of playing, it's the end of his career at Rovers so the chapter is over. A few weeks of posturing over money then he goes elsewhere with a pay off most likely.
  19. Something isn't right with set pieces at either end, for the last few games I watch our opponents take set pieces and I'm petrified. They look like scoring most times, I watch ours and they are atrocious and very rarely result in us getting anything on target. I feel we are back to Pears being found out.
  20. It pains me to say it, but I think Hedges stays in the team to cover the full back rather than offer anything going forwards. It is the only logical answer I have. You watch most the balls played into our left full back area, it's Hedges up in the air winning it. The problem is he is offering nothing going forward these days.
  21. I haven't seen him turn up for weeks!
  22. Somebody could do with gripping Cantwell and telling him this is the last chance saloon. I expect him to come on and take ownership of the ball in these games. Awful game.
  23. I feel underwhelmed because I think this could have been a push year. The manager has worked miracles with an extremely stretched squad, I think the league is as poor as it has been for years. We have more wriggle room than we have had for ages due to sales with regards to PSR. Next season is a blank canvas due to exits, I think we could have pushed the budget far harder than we have.
  24. Seeing it was Boro got me thinking about Darragh Lenihan, I hadn't realised he missed pretty much all of last season and is doubtful to play for the rest of this season. Its a shame for the lad.
  25. If this window fizzles out the way it's looking to be, it is gun to the head question for Waggott time. 1. Have have the owners turned the taps off? 2. Have you and your recruitment team blown another window? When will you resign?
