  1. No positives at all on the pitch, a few individual alarm bells rang too - Clarkson : if he had a night of good touches and passing but was out muscled I'd take the positives. What I saw was a lad that looked so far out of his depth he couldn't even compose himself to pass correctly. Kaminski: if he had a half decent game I'd take that as a positive but he didn't, his positioning was all over as was his distribution. The goal is really poor as that was the only place the ball could have gone and he just stood there. Butterworth : from what I've seen he needs a full fitness regime starting with our fitness coaches, he looked shot by half time. Until he achieves that no amount of quality will see beyond his lack of cardio. Van Hecke : the lad takes so many wild hacks at the ball and is really asking for trouble with all his holding. Can see him giving away a few pens. MOWBRAY IS SO CONFIDENT IN HIS POSITION HE IS CLEARLY JUST LAUGHING AT US FANS NOW!!!
  2. 2 games running the opposition put their foot down just a tiny amount and we had absolutely no idea what to do. In the second half I lost count of how many times our strikers were at full back and how many times our full backs were at centre forward. Nobody has the slightest clue what they are doing, the only thing that seems to be drilled is to let people shoot unopposed from outside our box
  3. How often can you concede the same goal
  4. This point and the ones covered by JH, Miller are all top points. I cannot read anything from press conferences as I am staggered that nobody has ever spun a question back on Mowbray. They have never asked about his ability to sign players to sell on for any profit "to ease then clubs financial burden" . They have never stated that doing right by players and offering the going rate with a release clause (so we make more than the grand sum of zero!) will surely long term have the club losing less money. I'm sure somebody with more financial knowledge than me can clarify but surely the owners are not physically losing £18m a year, i.e they borrow the £18m at say 5% interest so the year costs them £900k. Obviously it has gone on for years so the annual cost is much higher, but surely if a manager was doing a decent job in the transfer market and bringing in £5-£10m a year which is not out of the question with decent scouting and a grade 1 academy. Why the hell is Mowbray still here as he seems to hit no obvious targets that any manager could be set other than to never blame the owners!
  5. Maybe any season after this one. Makes one of Burnleys relegation rivals stronger this season, must have been some nervy debt ridden investors at T'Tufff when this deal was finalised.
  6. Yesterday proved to me why thousands of fans have walked away from this club. I actually think that the people running the day to day operations actually did bust a nut yesterday in blind panic to get a forward, but their sheer incompetence stopped that happening. The people running the show thought to quote Mowbray "clubs will be actually e calling us to offload players, come the last few days of the window". Well they didn't and we had no answer! Will there be a crisis meeting today to get answers to how the hell we didn't get a striker in the window, no chance!
  7. Having just seen the West Brom goals from last night I think we need to be practicing defending long throws into the box. Sheff Utd certainly hadn't!
  8. I was staggered 2 weeks ago we hadn't signed a soul. We have since lost our best player and still not signed anybody. Yet Mowbray waltzes into his press conferences and the same happy nodders from the LT and BBC Lancs buy into "how hard" Mowbray has it. Irritated isn't a strong enough word, I'm livid!
  9. Also the small matter of losing lots of the first team squad and replacing them with literally nobody.
  10. The Barr one really had me scratching my head, being part of the management team at Salford must be one of the least stable jobs in football. Then again if the people in charge at your club are trying to half the size of your training facility you may not feel too wanted!
  11. Good post. Surely any slightly organised team/business/charity would have at least an A-Z plan of actions. A - We are given a Brereton style transfer budget. Z- Nothing, scrapping around for lads to be given a chance from the Northern Premier league. We seem to have no plan whatsoever.
  12. You can see it, we can all see it but we will see how many in the press dare to question it. Surely some broadcast outlet will ask "what the hell is actually happening at Blackburn", they won't!
  13. I know Venkys are shite houses, I know Mowbray is holding on with all his might to his last ever pay day, I know Waggott is the worst CEO in football. But, I'm still going to say it ... I'm absolutely staggered at what is going on at Blackburn Rovers with regards to preparing a squad for a season in England's second tier, I'd be shocked if a league two club were so clueless. It is an absolutel embarrassment to the history of this famous club, its an absolute shambles!!!
  14. 12 months left on his contract and a 40% sell on to Newcastle, this really isn't going to end well for us is it!
  15. Another £29.5m worth of shares have been added by Venkys. I'd probably prefer to watch that money be set on fire than watch the current set up spend it!
  16. I get the business model behind it, I just don't see any teams in the league 21/22 season bringing that many outwith of Preston/Blackpool who I could see telling us to ram £36.
  17. This. You cannot convince me for a second that there are any Cat A+ games next season. I think the club are massively wrong if they think they can charge those prices for games you would expect to be our biggest away attendances - Blackpool, Preston. I look at the teams in our league next season and I don't see many big away followings at all.
  18. The LT are saying there is no clause, they also state due to his age we would be in receipt of compensation if he left. Not sure who to believe.
  19. What annoys me most about allowing Mowbray spinning his living away from home yarn is a bloke 10 miles down the M65 does exactly the same and shows no ill affect. I worked away from home for nearly 5 years, didn't like it so changed jobs. I'm more than happy to discuss with Tony about the benefits of moving jobs closer to home!
  20. I just hope Mowbray goes before Armstrong as I don't think I can handle him being "delighted for the lad joining a big club" when he ends up at somewhere like Norwich or West Brom.
  21. Any other year I'd be absolutely delighted to be chopping so much dead wood (Elliott excluded obviously!). With Mowbray in charge and the money from India looking likely to be dried up I'm petrified at what the midfield will look like next season.
  22. Exactly, in 4 years he hasn't successfully built players from the academy nor bought players to sell on. I don't think there can be many clubs who haven't successfully developed players to go on to play at a higher level in the last 4 years.
  23. Everything you need to know about Mowbray can be learned from our outgoing players. Only Raya in his entire time managing us has gone onto play at a club higher than us.
  24. As much as I'm hacked off with Mowbray I'm getting close to being as equally angered by our half arsed closing down resulting in deflections for opposition goals. It feels like every goal we concede is either a free header or deflected strike wrong footing our keeper.
  25. That's Mr honesty and integrity giving the fans the middle finger I'd say. Not looking at the table, hmmm that sort of statement reminds me of a man who didn't see a plane he was looking at!
