I’m infuriated by this interview. i am usually calm about most things but does he think that we, the fans are thick? So apparently we don’t get all the money for transfers in one go… does this not work the other way to Steve? Basic maths, Wharton 18 million, Raya 5 million, Ashley 2 million, Kaminski 2.5, Gally 1 million- I have tried to give the lowest amounts, that’s circa 28 million income. I do feel a lot happier with the signings, especially the unknown ones- the element of surprise is always exciting. We definitely need pace on the wings and a new gk- so let’s see what we look like next week.

20 million for a championship player who had played what 50 games? He is worth 40/50 million because he plays in the pl and has performed there. Once he moves on he will get us about 30 million and that is one of the highest ever transfer fees in the championship for a midfielder.
