  1. I'm sure Millwall will be happy with the point I don't disagree with that and yes I would be happy with a point at Fulham in those circumstances. But the chances we had last night were clear cut.. Costello's, Buckleys and Gallagher's.Lenihen again with a free header that he skied. Put it this way If Millwall had had the chances we had last night and missed them like us and it ended 0-0 I would think we got very lucky, not that we defended well or Mowbray outwitted Rowett
  2. Maja only didn't join in the summer because he failed a medical, it had nothing to do with money. Didn't Mowbray say he wasn't a target in January? Also he went to Stoke on loan not for 3 Million. Obafemi didn't want to move up north again nothing to do with money. We reportedly agreed a fee for him he didn't even want to discuss terms with us.
  3. Yes but you think they defended well, when it's a fact we had 4 clear chances agreed awful we didn't take them but that had nothing to do with Rowetts game plan or Millwall defending well
  4. If we went away from home after winning 5 on the spin ,didn't have a shot on target and gave up 4 clear cut chances you would be happy? They were clear chances not half chances.4 times we should have scored, we didn't due to awful finishing it had absolutely nothing to do with how Millwall defended.
  5. Free publicity? The club knew that the Peterborough chairman would announce our agreed fee?Or did I miss Rovers statement that we had a bid accepted for him?
  6. We had 4 clear cut chances. No matter where sat in the ground that was evident. Professional footballers should be putting those chances away.Buckley from 6 yards.Gallagher just had to get his on target.Costello not hitting the target when only the keeper to beat. I thought Millwall were rubbish last night apart from a couple of 5 minute spells and they saw the game out well when our heads dropped but we could and should have been 2 goals to the good at HT.
  7. Bad finishing.Millwall second best all night. They came to defend evident by not having one shot at goal we had 4 clear chances. Buckley, Costello, Gallagher and Lenihen should have all scored. It was a draw due to bad finishing not because Millwall defended well.
  8. We created enough to win the match comfortably. We just can't find the back of the net. Excellent move to create Rankin Costello opening in the first half.Great ball by Buckley for Gallagher that he should have slotted in.Buckley missing from 6 yards.Lenihen again with another missed header. Earlier in the season during our run those chances we're finding the back of the net. Not saying we deserved to win the game you need to be clinical and score for that but we were well on top last night very similar to the QPR game difference being we got the winner in that.
  9. Dealt with us fairly well? Costello's miss, Gallagher's miss, Buckleys miss, Lenihens miss. That's 4 easy goalscoring chances they gave up.They didn't have a shot at our goal.We had more possession.More corners. We didn't score..we didn't deserve to win the game but Millwall were 2nd best by far tonight.
  10. 4 clear cut chances. We dominated them in every department. Our players can't score it wasn't some tactical master plan by Rowett, it was only for poor finishing and luck that Millwall came away with anything.
  11. We had 4 clear cut chances in the match not too sure how Rowett dealt with what we had. They would have been hammered tonight if we had a goalscorer.Millwall were shocking tonight.Did they have a shot?
  12. How did Gallagher not bury that fantastic ball by Buckley. Rankin Costello should have finished that lovely move aswell. Need a goal but well on top similar to the QPR game.Lets hope the second half brings a similar outcome. Cmon Lads
  13. And the previous Saturday we fully deserved our victory against QPR. We are what we are the 2nd youngest team in the division (the youngest being Barnsley who are currently in the relegation zone). Most of us including me and you had us down as a team that would either struggle at the bottom or have another season of mediocrity but here we are in 4th after spending the last 100+ days sat comfortably in the top 6. A young side many of whom are having their first season as regulars at this level are going to have bad days and bad runs
  14. Mate I honestly agree that they are shite owners and have hardly any interest but IF like that article suggests that Mowbray could have brought someone in and had the finance to do so I don't see how the clubs failure to sign a player comes back on the owners?Apart from them continuing to penny pinch on a competent CEO and structure at the club Obviously I am saying if money was there, if not then yeah it's on them.
  15. I'm not suggesting that even if they could the owners would have broke the bank but I do think we had a couple of million that was left unspent. Like in the summer all eggs in one basket with Maja and when that deal breaks down the team on the ground have nothing else lined up
  16. Im still confident that we will finish in the playoffs. My point with that post is according to the manager and the Peterborough chairman we did have more money than just the 200k used to bring Hedges in, which is what roversfan suggested. I do think money went unspent going off what the manager and media have been saying. If funds went unspent that is down to the people on the ground not the owners. The owners were happy to spend 15 million on 3 forward players in the space of 12 months upon promotion from League 1.The owners let the manager bring 12 players through the door last summer on the back of the pandemic and no crowds. Find it odd they then wouldn't give the manager any money to spend when sat 2nd in the league.
  17. The manager said we were close to a European forward. The Peterborough chairman confirmed a bid for Dembele. I don't believe the club were making bids on the off chance the owners would change their stance on Rothwell. And Maja was in the building so 100% there was scope to bring in a forward player in the summer.
  18. I'm going off what the manager said publicly.A week before all this Rothwell drama he was telling the media that a European based forward player was close to joining. What happened with that? In the summer did the owners instruct Mowbray that the only striker he was allowed to bring in was Maja?As confirmed he was in the building so can only presume the funds were there to get that deal done so again I would put it down to incompetence on whoever is doing the deals rather than the owners not giving any scope to bring in a forward player. I'm not saying it's all Mowbrays fault that nobody brought in January but I would put it on The team on the ground rather than the owners if 1.5 million+ was left unspent because they couldn't find anyone.
  19. I said I would like to sign Styles as he could impact this season and would be an ideal Rothwell replacement at the end of the season if he left.Your reply was You see Buckley as Rothwells replacement but felt that Rothwell would end up staying anyway. Quite clear from that reply by you that you didn't want Styles signed in January you wanted a tackling midfielder which you also said.
  20. You said you see Buckley as Rothwells replacement and you didn't want Styles Chaddy.
  21. Well the timeline suggests that it had nothing to do with Rothwell being sold considering Mowbray spoke about the owners stance on the previous Thursday and Rovers never accepted any bid for Rothwell. Plus Mowbray himself has stated we had the opportunity to bring someone in.
  22. No Styles we discussed.I hadn't seen O'Riley play bar clips after we were linked
  23. Yeah I'm talking about when i suggested him as a player I'd like to be brought in in January.Il look for the post later ,it's in the January transfer thread
  24. He wasnt limited to 200k though was he? Bid confirmed for Dembele and that bid that was accepted must have been the fee Bournemouth paid for him as they were hardly going to pay more than the fees agreed with us and Birmingham.
  25. You said you were not sure if he was the type of player needed and questioned wether we could afford him
