More game time shifted all over the place,Dolan and Gallagher play in the front 3. Yesterday you play down his goal involvments yet without him on the field those goals may not have happened.He has won the ball back countless times for us.And the stats will show he is worth his place in the team. He has played rb, right wing back, as part of a 3 in midfield,behind the striker and false 9 so yes you may be correct he has played a lot but not always as an attacking midfielder

Buckley is joint 2nd with with Dolan and Gallagher with 3 assists with only Rothwell doing better with 6. We will just have to agree to disagree but imo Buckley has a big future will only get better with more game time like Brererton

If my posts appear that i am saying no blame is attached to the owners then i apologise for coming across wrong as of course i do think it is the overall responsibility of the owners to ensure we dont get put in a situation like this. From various reports it would seem our highest earners are on 17/18 grand a week.If Rothwell and Lenihen are looking for that or over it, id argue they aint worth that certainly in the case of Rothwell prior to this season and although i think we are a stronger side with Lenihen in the team , i do not think he has pushed on and as an individual i think better could be found on the market . Other teams with similar income in this division wont be paying their players 20+ a week.

I wouldnt sell them either but if say Rothwell agreed with Rangers in January that he would sign on a free transfer when his contract is up do we think he would be giving 100% the last few months of his deal here or would we be listening to the manager telling us Lenihen, Nyambe and Rothwell have been left out due to their heads not being right? Like you say we are likely to recieve peanuts if we do cash in on those 3 in January, but keeping them we aint guaranteed they will be busting a gut for us either

You are obviously referencing my post with your use if the word "privy". If you read my post in caps i said we dont know if it is ALL down to the owners, which we dont. Plenty of money was found to extend ageing and past it players.

How many improved contracts did Bennett and Evans have? Mulgrew? Smallwood?Sam Hart etc etc etc? Bradley Johnson effectively a 3 year contract. The contract situation isnt as black and white as the picture you are trying to paint.Offers have been made and unless you are privvy to the finer details of said offers how can you be so certain ALL the blame lays at the feet of the owners?

He still has 3 assists this season and has generally been playing well. He can pick a pass better than anyone in the squad and is well worth his place in the team.

Not many in our squad are capable of playing the ball he did last night for the opening goal. Not all assists but he has had 7 or 8 goal involvements so far this season.

I think the situations are a lot different.Chapman wasnt potentially bringing in 15+ million.Currently Brererton is our highest valued asset so i do think the club would be absolutely certain that option was in Brerertons contract before sharing it with the local paper

First half no arguments.Second half i thought he was one of the players who tried to get us going. His goalscoring record is poor but not surprising to me as he doesnt look a goalscorer which is fine as he has plenty of other attributes, and in fairness he has been moved around he hasnt been playing attacking midfield all season.One of the most talented players on our books imo, and will play in the Premier league

Brererton wasnt made available until late in the window by Forest and he was being touted around to clubs On Celina he didnt name names but Mowbray said we had agreed a deal to bring in a midfielder from City only for our wage offer to be blown out the water by another championship club.Celina was the only City midfielder to move for a fee to a championship club that summer. You are right it was all very late with the deals but Mowbray spent that summer telling us money was available
