  1. We will probably get a performance and a win on Saturday as one thing I will say Mowbray has more lives than a cat, when the crowd is on the verge of turning and been on a winless streak he invariably goes on a little spell of picking up results, usually when he sticks to the best team and formation instead of changing it up every 5 minutes
  2. Did I say I would be happy with it? Which would you be happier with 17th or relegation? I was merely giving my opinion that I don't think there is a chance that we will get relegated this season due to some of the other teams in the league. It's like this most including me expected this season to be a struggle. Most including me want the manager out. We had a good start and I see mad stuff being posted on here about us possibly getting top 6 this year. There is no chance of that either. I'm hopeful money will be spent next summer when we lose the window got promoted from the ffp calculations. And praying it will be a new management team that get to spend it rather than Mowbray.
  3. Get through this season and hopefully a new management team in place next summer and hopefully some money will be spent on improving the squad. You don't get my point? Posters were saying we could go down, I said in my opinion we wouldn't go down due to there being worse teams than us?Not sure what you don't get about that?Hardly rocket science is it? And why do you struggle with 17th?We are in 11th now ain't we?Have we not beaten teams this season?
  4. Did I say it's anything to get excited about?Did I say Im happy about it?No ! I'm replying to people saying we will go down when I don't think there is any chance we will get relegated this season. There are 24 teams in the championship btw
  5. Buckley has been ok far far better than anything shown by Clarkson. In fairness Buckley has played as part of a 3 across the midfield, wide right, right wingback and centrally in a 3 behind a front man.He hasnt spent all season as an attacking midfielder.I think he should be playing alongside Travis in a 4-2-3-1 where he can use his long passing and vision and tackling to greater effect.Use Rothwell central of the 3 behind the striker. Agree his numbers need to be improved, but overall I think he has played well, has won the ball back for us on a number of occasions with his tackling and he can see a pass better than anyone in our squad imo.
  6. Yeah hopefully Reading don't play 3 at the back
  7. Sorry Hull yes and id agree Khadra was slightly better but as for being far more influential I'd say that is an overstatement. He had an impact and then not seen for matches later despite the manager building him up in the media. Hardly shocking that fans will be more protective of one of our own players rather than a loan is it? Also think it was stupid leaving Buckley out last night.Mowbray said he wanted to rest a couple.Buckley had played one game after a 2 week international break ffs.Clarkson has done absolutely nothing to warrant a start, he hasn't impressed starting or coming off the bench
  8. We have already done it this season. We are 10th not 20th. No guarantee Rothwell leaves in January all the talk at the moment is him signing a pre contract with Rangers so wouldn't be going until the summer. Even without Rothwell we ain't as bad as Peterborough, Hull, and other teams.Derby will go down if another points deduction and they have to sell players in January. We wont finish any lower than 17th in my opinion
  9. Do you think Butterworth played well when he came on against Huddersfield?I think most who watched that would say he did play well in that match. Since that game he has hardly seen any minutes. If he was under consideration to start last night then surely he should have been given some minutes in the previous match against Coventry, rather than Poveda coming on. Mowbray does deserve criticism for the way he is handling the players, absolutely no doubt about it
  10. Too many shit teams.Yeah we will go through long spells where we look relegation fodder (like every season since Mowbray been here,) but we will also have unbeaten spells like every season. With the prospect of Derby having more points deducted and Reading also facing a points deduction I just don't see anyway we get relegated this season.
  11. Our debts are owed to the owners though.Well the majority of them. Recent examples of teams going into admin, Bolton, Wigan and Derby owed millions to the tax man and other creditors
  12. Just personal opinion.Just don't see administration as an avenue our owners would look to use. They have never even hinted at looking to sell the club and just dont see administration as one of the things they would consider. It would be highly embarrassing for them putting us into admin. The majority of our debt is owned to owners, difference with Bolton, Wigan and Derby is their debts were owed to the taxman and outside creditors Yeah they have no interest and they are absolutely clueless but they still always pay the bills(not praising them for that)
  13. The owners won't put us into administration.
  14. Same odds as the bookies. We won't be going down.
  15. Have you seen some of the other teams squads and performances? We are poor but there is worse In this division. I'm willing to take any bet that we won't go down this season?
  16. As an individual maybe but stats prove we pick up better results with him in the side Our record without him is terrible
  17. Bowyer got nowhere near the money Mowbray had to spend and although he inherited a better squad than Mowbray did he had to contend with a transfer embargo
  18. How can they? Tony hasn't decided what formation and tactics will be used till be spins the wheel 5 minutes before the teams are announced
  19. He already has in the champions League last year played the full game and was recently given a 4 year contract Agree he has been dogshit for us and looks way out of his depth but he is rated at Liverpool
  20. In fairness Bennett turning down a new deal wasn't down to money. He wanted to play regularly and it wasn't going to happen here. Bell wasn't offered a new deal by the club.
  21. They decided on Dolan instead.
  22. Fair enough but it isn't anyway near Championship level. I'm not saying Burns won't make it btw like I said he looks a decent prospect I just don't think he can be compared to Brereton yet. As another poster pointed out Brereton was playing for England underage that alongside the fact he had made 50 championship appearances by 19 would suggest he was more highly though of as a young player than Burns is currently
  23. Fair enough but at kids level is my point though.Like I agree he looks a good prospect but until he gets an opportunity we won't know.Well you would presume whoever has the better career will be the better player.
  24. When Brererton was Sam Burns age he had 50 appearances in the Championship already under his belt. From what I have seen Burns does look a prospect but Brererton has 10 goals and an assist already to his name this season and Burns has never played a game at senior level, how can the two be compared
  25. Ayala was poor the last match. The team in general were poor and didn't help Carter having Magloire that side of him.Everytime a young player has a poor game it doesn't mean they have to be dropped the following game.Van Hecke has missed pre season and only recently started training.Fingers crossed Lenihen is fit but feel Carter would be more deserving of a start with a proper right back playing
