  1. Was anything said about potential transfers on radio lancs tonight?
  2. Dozzell from Ipswich has joined QPR.Linked with us earlier in the summer
  3. He won't be on the market as a permanent option, rated at Liverpool and already been involved with first team squad
  4. https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/blackburn-rovers-jake-kean-interview-20711797 Interesting article with Jake Kean he tells of Celtic bidding 3.5 million for him but the Venkys rejecting it as they wanted 6 million These people have no business in football
  5. Finished it last night, last two episodes in particular were excellent
  6. Plus Ismael will most likely be wanted by bigger clubs.Be suprised if he is still manager when the season starts
  7. What's surprising about the manager being quiet when the season is over?He will be spending time with his family etc like the players
  8. Chapman not hearing from the club for 3 month while out on loan is a disgrace.
  9. Possibly because our senior players won't sign on for a few hundred quid a week
  10. Mowbray will be on holiday now will he not? If he was going surely he would be gone by now
  11. At most normal clubs id agree but let's be honest whatever we get for Armstrong only a tiny portion of it will be reinvested in to the playing squad and I wouldn't want Mowbray spending big money anyway so the fans don't win by Armstrong leaving at least if we have him next season we have someone with a proven record of scoring goals in this division.
  12. Nixon saying we want to loan Pears out and bring in another number 2
  13. None of what you said is reason enough to think signing Ryan Gauld is a no brainer
  14. Oxford must not have appreciated him enough either. He is a quality dribbler but he is in no way a top quality player and that isn't due to Tony Mowbray.
  15. I think Armstrong has had a terrific season and is clearly our biggest asset at this moment in time, however his record against the better sides in this division isn't very good, 1 or 2 goals against the top 6 sides in this division. I'd question his bottle a little bit as quite a few times this season were games have been tight or we have had a chance to get back into a game and Armstrong has had either a penalty or clean through on goal and he has completely fluffed it.For some reason he never goes around the goalkeeper. With one year left on his contract added to the fact clubs have taken a financial hit during the pandemic I think talk of 20 million fees is a bit pie in the sky. Even if we where to get big money for him we would likely only get a small fraction of it reinvested into the squad and it would get spent by a manager who is leading us nowhere. Its a lose-lose for the supporters again .Bad times
  16. Finished snowfall quality once again
  17. In fairness sparks Harwood Bellis is younger than both Carter and Magloire and has been involved with the first team at Man City,he is a better prospect by far than Carter and Magloire
  18. If we were to offer Danny Cowley the job tomorrow morning promising the same time and backing that Mowbray has had then he would join IV no doubt. Mowbray has had 4 year and hasn't been forced to sell a player and has been backed.Id imagine plenty of managers would be interested
  19. And why would they sign them? Most us fans including me and you want the manager out, and I'm sure certain players are thinking the same. Would you sign a new contract under a boss you have lost faith in when you could get a deal elsewhere?
  20. If Mowbray is still in charge then for the sake of his own career he should be pushing to leave.Mowbray ludicrously leaves him out as often as injuries allow.Absolute joke how Mowbray treats him
  21. The fella at Huddersfield was Biesla's assistant at Leeds. You pour scorn on people suggesting names from the lower leagues but are all for a foreign guy who hasn't managed a team? Also do you really think we have the competence in the background to support a manager with no experience of managing? Especially when we have a big summer rebuild and with our likely budget be looking for bargains from the lower leagues
  22. I'm not saying I believe him, however in response to the first quote he has been saying there will be a review at the end of the season most season which ties in with what has been said by some on here. In response to the second quote , he was exchanging tweets with a Rovers fan and what he said was "he is talking to players and lining up deals quickly" so agree with you he doesn't have the same contacts at Rovers anymore but he could be getting this from the players agents side. Mowbray has shown many signs of delusion whilst here but even he can't be that deluded to have been told there will be a parting of ways in the summer yet he is still trying to set up deals for next season Let's be honest would it be that surprising if Mowbray is kept on? Of course not what I want but with these owners added to the fact he only has a year left on his deal I would not be surprised in the slightest.
