Yes Mowbray does in terms of tactics,like you say the way he used Evans and Johnson the point you made, Gallagher again out wide etc but my posts are in response to people saying things like "no chance of the play offs", "same old useless shite we always lose this sort of game" We were missing 5 starters a 6th when Dack comes back.Johnson and Evans midfield ,why he didn't loan out Davenport or sell him is beyond me.He did ok in his spell at Burton Albion in the championship granted a few year ago,surely a league one club would have at least loaned him. The 3 new signings come with a different mentality .

The majority of us spent yesterday on the transfer thread drooling over the business we have done. We discussed their attributes and how they would improve the team.Douglas solid left back excellent at set pieces,Trybull defensive midfielder not seen an awful lot of him but in the few games IV seen I think he will come into the side, Elliot yes only 17 but the fact he is with the first team and playing in some cup games and on for two league games last season already at that age tells you he is a bit special. Those 3 come here with winning mentality,2 have got out of the division in recent times and Elliot is around the Liverpool squad. Those 3, Rothwell, Holtby didn't play can't blame Mowbray for that . That's 5 starters from the team missing today imo and in the shorter term Dack to come back and longer term Travis. It will be a totally different team to today for the majority of season injurys aside.Hopefully Elliot will live up to what Klopp thinks about him and hopefully that will put an end to Gallagher coming on and Dolan used later when defences tire.I do think the lad looks a talent and although his standard has dropped a little last two games the whole team especially the midfield 3 have been much poorer aswell just think he could be a great impact sub and think he will go with Armstrong Dack Elliot Today was a terrible result and performance but in a few weeks time we will have a totally different team practically and Douglas, Elliot and Trybull bring a different mindset I do blame Tony for Holtby not playing today .Surely he back Wednesday?I can understand the birth and a few days after but back now surely

Did you watch the match? I wouldn't say they were ultra defensive but their 16 shots I'd say 1 or 2 troubled the keeper. It was a poor game and both sides were bad.We were absolute dogshit today but a draw still would have been a fair result

Brereton had a hand in all the goals we scored against Derby and that's a fact you only have to watch the highlights to see it for yourself Buckley looked overawed today and a little out of his depth but the way senior players at Ewood and management talk about him and iv seen glimpses with my own eyes I think he has something. Johnson and Evans shouldn't line up together again.

It is classed as an assist he also made a very good run and played Rothwell in who put it on a plate for Armstrong. I do not think Ben Brereton is a world beater,has he been poor for the majority of the time he has been here,yes. When everyone is available he wouldn't be in my starting 11. But did he play well in the first 3 games of this season he did play well and your overall opinion of him is blinding you to that fact imo.He ok first game ,good v Wycombe and he was excellent against Derby.Last two games he has been poor but so have all our other attackers. And on Buckley didn't realize he finished his career today.

Ffs you are saying he has done nothing this season when he did play well in the first 3 matches only someone with an agenda or doesn't have a clue about how the game is played would suggest otherwise. Ridiculous response.So missing about 6 players that potentially start doesn't make a difference. You think other clubs wouldn't struggle with that amount out? Why are you mentioning Brereton in that post.They don't play the same position. And like I said in a previous post when every body fit it will be Armstrong, Dack, Elliot as the front 3. Brereton doesn't play as a striker for us.He was ok v Bournemouth,better at Wycombe and excellent at Derby.Been poor the last 2 games but so has Dolan and Armstrong. Breretons runs and general play led to goals in the Wycombe and Derby matches. I find it pretty pathetic your obsession with Brereton, he didn't put the 7 million price tag on his head, didn't force Mowbray to pay it, as far as I'm aware he has never bigged himself up but this season at least he has been trying.And whatever you say he did play well in the first 3 games, last 2 games not many have played well

Did the manager not make four signings on deadline day? He obviously feels there are areas that need addressing. A team consisting of Douglas, Armstrong,Dack, Elliot, Dolan ,Rothwell and Holtby will create chances. I'm not the manager's biggest fan but crikey look at the amount of players unavailable today, we are analysing a midfield that barring an injury crisis I would put money on them not starting all together again.

My god.Do you think we will line up with a midfield 3 of Johnson, Evans and Buckley many times this season. When you saw Evans and Johnson together in the starting line up did you think we were likely to create a lot of chances today? Do you not think that players such as Dack, Elliot, Rothwell and Holtby would have made a difference today? Douglas coming in at left back ,do you not think his wand of a left foot will aid us in creating chances? When Dack is back a front 3 of Armstrong Dack Dolan/Elliot should pose a threat to any team. A 3 of Rothwell, Trybull/Johnson/Travis when he is back and Holtby should create chances. I'm not Mowbray's biggest fan and this bringing Gallagher on out wide has to stop but today he does have a genuine excuse with our non performance with the amount of players that were unavailable. Any team in the division would struggle with that list of absentee's

We had a load of players unavailable today.Trybull and Elliot have not joined to sit on the bench.Holtby Rothwell and Dack to come back also. Elliot has been signed to play,Dack and Armstrong certain starters. Brereton and Gallagher don't play as strikers for us.I don't think Brereton will ever be a 7 million man but think he has something to offer just not goals. The lads who have been signed will come into the team and Rothwell and Holtby will play also.Both of them where missed big time today . Johnson and Evans shouldn't play in the same team together.For me Evans shouldn't play at all and don't think he will play much .Why Davenport wasn't loaned out or sold is beyond me.Mowbray can't rate him

Agree with Gallagher but I think Brereton has looked ok this season not a 7 million man ,not today tho but again we had no creativity in the 3 behind.Armstrong was crap today aswell but I don't blame him Johnson, Evans and Buckley showed nothing. In fairness Brereton hasnt started many matches for rovers and Mowbray has had no problem leaving him out so don't agree with your point that Mowbray shoehorns him in or will start him every week because of his fee

Yeah I do believe they will make a difference. Hard to play a similar style as we did in the Bournemouth, Wycombe, and Derby matches when we are missing Holtby who makes us tick and Rothwell who gives drive from the midfield. Evans and Johnson together no creativity.Buckley was shit.So no midfield at all today so yes the returning players and new signings will make a difference
