  1. Just some fan presume Norwich ,saying we are getting a good un in signing him.Had a quick look on Norwich Forum and couldn't see it being discussed
  2. We don't know how good this Greek guy is tho,he cost us nothing.Maybe they have looked at him in training and don't think he is ready. We do need a number 2 who is ready to step in if anything happens with Kaminski injury wise. Pears will be costing peanuts anyway,Close with Douglas so that will be left back sorted
  3. Seen someone on Facebook saying we are in for Tom Trybull from Norwich.Defensive midfielder
  4. It's not a 3 million loan fee according to Nixon. 1 million loan fee plus his full wages paid still an expensive deal
  5. He left on bad terms so the link with him probably a load of nonsense . I just don't see Rooney being a good manager.
  6. The sun where running with a story today that Cocu on the brink of getting sacked with Rooney lined up to take over alongside a more senior figure, they mentioned John Gregory
  7. But we don't have the money for that though. Kaminski, Ayala, Douglas (if he signs) improves our first 11 from last season imo. Bradley Johnson looks a much better player this year.Rankin Costello integrated into the squad. Buckley seems to be coming into it a bit more.Holtby seems to have found his place in the side.Better signs from Rothwell also.Been a lot of improvement in Armstrong since he moved up front. Dolan keeps playing the way he is another improvement on our first 11.Brereton looks improved. Pears or the Greek guy are surely better than Leutwiler? Our best player in Dack still to come back. With the addition of Douglas we have a better first 11 and squad than last year imo. Another established midfielder would be nice but if we don't have the money what can we do,other than take a chance on a premier league loan? An awful lot to be positive about imo
  8. I'd go with Buckley instead of Evans but TM will probably start with Evans if he is fit
  9. He can't move to a premier league club at least until January.Prem to Prem transfers ain't permitted in this second window . We won't sign him but say it is likely he will join a championship team on loan before deadline
  10. Don't think we have to worry about who starts between Wilson and Dolan. He won't be coming here
  11. I'm not against Downing coming back if we secure a left back and a midfielder first. They must think the Greek goalkeeper Isnt ready if Pears Is coming in
  12. It's either a loan to the championship or no first team football at least until January. I think he will join a championship club but think other teams are likely to offer more. The two Welsh sides in for him and so are Derby who he played for previously
  13. Well he did say 2 or 3 today, there is always tomorrow for the fourth
  14. If we are bringing in 2 or 3 now then it would be logical to think the cash injection has something to do with it
  15. Yeah he has said many times we are close to a few only for nothing to happen. At least this time we will find out by 5pm tomorrow
  16. Are you not amazed that Mowbray hasn't had to sell any of our big hitters like you predicted for the countless window in a row. Window to date has been ok,left back will take it to being a very good window.
  17. Douglas from Leeds is close according to multiple reports. That will be left back sorted. Sign Pears or not it will be a good window IF Douglas signs as expected.
  18. I'd move Evans on if any interest.Sick of him always being fit for international duty but hardly ever for us.
  19. Probably didnt see we signed a goalkeeper the other week Would be ridiculous if this is true
  20. He has had injurys whilst here and was playing further forward. He seems to have found a place that suits him playing deeper now and although only for a short period he has looked a class above in the games so far. I agree that Bannan is a top class midfielder in the championship, but comparing Bannans and Holtby careers like chalk n cheese, Holtby has spent the majority of his career at top division clubs whilst Bannan has spent it in the championship.
  21. Bannan is a very good midfielder for this level and although he has only started doing the business for us for a short period id argue Holtby is a more talented player than Bannan. Played at a higher level for much longer period.
  22. Bannan is a very good midfielder for this level and although he has only started doing the business for us for a short period id argue Holtby is a more talented player than Bannan. Played at a higher level for much longer period.
  23. It's not happening,Premier league have released a statement 'PL clubs reject Project Big Picture, L1 & L2 bailout agreed' https://www.skysports.com/share/12103872
