  1. Now they are talking about permanent deals being brought in.Again why don't you save your criticism and slagging off of other fans until we see how it plays out?
  2. Never said I have come up anything. Mercer every summer we are on the brink of financial Armageddon In your opinion. You sold Rhodes more times than Nixon. Alex Neil the latest one you have got wrong.. IF it isn't your Bookie giving you the inside scoop it's one of your colleagues.Colleagues who seem to know the finer details of the Armstrong deal already. Its laughable Thought your contacts told you Obafemi was a loan deal????
  3. He will be back on shortly to tell us that he broke the Rhodes to Rovers story on here even though it was Glen Mullan
  4. Has anything Mercer said ever come true? Maybe wait and see what actually happens first?
  5. Guess work you have no idea like the rest of us
  6. Agreed but at least when Braintwaithe proved to be poor he was out of the first 11
  7. We have lost 11 players, our young players will still get opportunities. With the best will in the world it's being extremely optimistic to expect 11 players from our academy to be ready for championship football. Some will make it others won't
  8. Might make other teams match the offer.Arma may prefer Palace and London
  9. Southampton have agreed a fee.Breaking on sky
  10. For what it's worth I don't think they will join the Armstrong race as from media reports they are targetting a foreign striker but they do buy championship players for big money
  11. I think we would all like experienced players but with the noises coming from the club it won't be happening. The decent experienced players, the parent club will want the majority of the wages paying which seemingly we can't afford. So if we do go down that route we will be getting players like Trybull who Norwich were so desperate to get rid of they loaned him to a championship rival and we only had to pay 2k a week toward his wage. We need numbers in anyway ,with our injury.Maybe if Armstrong sold the owners might sanction some permanent deals(even though I don't really want Mowbray spending it)
  12. They bought Webster for 20 million rising to 22. Mapauy was also 20 million Both were championship players and hadn't' played at the top level
  13. Mowbray more or less said it in his pre match press conference
  14. Brighton still spend and are being linked with strikers who will cost in excess of £20 million In previous seasons 20 million on Maupay from the Championship.22 millon . Adam Webster a central defender bought from Bristol City.22 million had never played above the championship
  15. I was surprised at the number of teams benches and how poor they were. Not too sure if they have many out injured or what but Bournemouth bench on Friday night looked weak and they are one of the promotion favourites.
  16. Brighton sold White for 50 million and are in the Market for a striker.I never thought we would get 20 but I think we can squeeze 15 out of someone
  17. Yeah he could get a 2 million signing on fee elsewhere come summer,so would he be giving 100% or will he look at what happened with Dack on not want to risk injury We ain't going up
  18. He doesn't want to be here anymore, and having an unhappy player in the camp rarerly ends well Plus if he is sold they can't be using lack of funds as a reason we have half a squad coming to the end of their contract next summer
  19. They might have bid from earlier in the window but with signing a striker for 8 million from Werder Bremen and in talks to sign a 10 million attacker from Greece I doubt they are still in the race for Armstrong
  20. Would you be surprised if these jokers let his contract run down and let him go on a free?I wouldn't
  21. Nixon saying Palace bid is 12 million plus extras.Rovers not willing to sell at that price
  22. Be better asking if it can be used to get our assets tied down
  23. They both were in the team on merit is my point.Nobody can deny they were two of our better performers last season.Elliot had a spell out of the side,Bellis once he got in his performances didn't merit being dropped.Braintwaithe didn't perform and he was out of the team. Trybull the experienced player didn't show anything really. The thing with loaning experienced players Is if they are any good then the parent club will want the majority of their wages paying and if we had that sort of money then surely that should be used to get our own players tied down to longer contracts.
