  1. Signing Reed on a permanent deal would be quite the signing, i doubt we will see it in January though as read an article earlier in the season and Reed still harbours ambitions of becoming a regular at Southampton. Centre back and Striker should be priorities, dependent on the budget id like to see a back up Rb for Nyambe. Would like an out an out winger, someone likr Chapman who can change a game
  2. No disrespect to you but all summer you were saying no way would we be spending decent money. What about our reported 5 million bid for Freeman at QPR , what criteria did he fit? Of course its only natural to doubt our owners with the way they have run the club but we spent decent enough money in the summer and tied down quite a few to longer contracts. This week we have seen Bennett and Mulgrew sign new deals with Evans and Graham reportedly close to extending their stays.
  3. You just said 15 mil triggers the release clause?
  4. Great news. Eases my worries over the cancellation of Mowbray's meeting with the owners
  5. The u23 playing this wednesday aint they?Lancashire cup it's in telegraph
  6. He played friday night Mowbray said he will get another run out in the Lancashire cup this week
  7. The key will be being in and around the playoffs come January i feel. The owners are more likely to carry on backing Mowbray with money if we are in the mix. Be easier to attract a better quality of player in January if players feel we have a genuine chance of going up
  8. Thought Brererton did well when he came on and have seen him play well but the manager doesn't trust him to play up front so now finding it a strange signing when we did need another striker. Thought Armstrong played well with a tad more composure he could have had a couple today. Up to fifth, back to back wins we can go into two tough away games with plenty of confidence
  9. Im out getting brekkie now before the game to sum it up he talks about his community service, he is spending time with disabled people a couple of evenings a week.He speaks about the interest in him says he is happy here and it's different as to when he was desperate to leave Gillingham as we are a big club with everything in place to reach the premier league. Doesn't rule out a move in the future, wants to play at the highest level and hopefully that will be with us
  10. Agree on Rothwell and hopefully Mowbray will start playing him regularly

  12. Heckingbottom had a poor time at Leeds (who hasn't)?.Not saying he would get them promoted but he is a good coach had Barnsley playing well and developed a lot of young players at for them.
  13. Sky reporting that ex Mourinho assistant Faria favourite to take over with Terry as assistant
  14. Must be the most drawn out takeover in history been imminent for months
  15. Or he will go into the game with a negative mindset and play the soldiers rather than the artists. Love Mogga and the job he has done but i hope he approaches the game with positivity, we are a much better side when we take the game to the opposition imo. I don't care who we are playing, at home we should be playing our attackers.I feel Mowbray will go for Smallwood and Evans in the middle and either Bennett or Reed playing wide of the 3 behind Graham with the other playing rb.
  16. What type of player is Lyons Parson who would you liken him too?Has Candlin been playing?
  17. Mercer we have been outplayed in 2 games this season, Sheffield United and Derby every other match we have competed well. Lets be realistic the club has not been run well for 7 years,we have just come up from league one and we are sitting 9th in the table on 18 points having played Brentford,Stoke,Derby,Nottingham forest,Villa and Sheffield United all teams you would have expected going into the season to be amongst the teams at the top. I agree performance wise against Sheffield United and yesterday we sat back to much but at end of day we kept a clean sheet. We have a young team its been good start points wise and in a lot of the games we have been good. On Rodwell the athleticism might not be there but his passing was excellent.I watched it on the box and Mowbray was saying in the interview he see's him playing at the back long term ,i thought he was good in midfield until he ran out of steam
  18. That article is taken from a nixon story in the sun
  19. Yeah it was a lovely goal and it was great play by Palmer, i just prefer Rothwell from what I'v seen of them both. Tough 3 games coming up
  20. And Rothwell didn't show magic for the goal? Was a lovely pass. Completely disagree with you on this one if a choice betweem Palmer or Rothwell then id pick Rothwell every week.Palmer has a bit of magic but find Rothwell much more dynamic and more busy
  21. Should have taken off Palmer rather than Rothwell in my opinion
  22. Nice team, hopefully some good attacking football tonight
