  1. Which was never going to happen. The window has gone above exceeding expectations in my opinion. Would i have thought we would have turned down a 15 mill bid for any of our player's since Venkys took over? No. The club did exactly what you wanted said "Not for sale" Maybe give a bit of credit?I usually enjoy your posts but lately all you seem to do is slag the club off.We will be amongst the highest net spenders in the league and have kept hold of all our star men.Plenty to slag the club off over since the Venkys took over but this summer has been excellent.
  2. The telegraph were saying do we have time to sneak a couple of deals in before 5pm 10 minutes ago surely they wouldn't be saying that if we weren't talking to anyone.
  3. Lucky we haven't entertained selling Dack. To turn down a deal that could have reached 15 million(if true) is quite the statement by the club. Along with signing some exciting up and coming British talent it's been an excellent window.Surely you agree?
  4. We can have up to 8 loans only 5 can be included in the match day squad. He will have been signed for the development squad initially
  5. He has a long term injury doesn't he?Doubt we will get him off our books today
  6. A correspondent from one of the papers who covers west Brom has tweeted likely np ins or outs . If true we rejected a 15million bid for Dack then further proof that the club is starting to be looked after properly. Although maybe short in one or 2 areas going off what Mogga said that's down to clubs not willing to deal.Been a fantastic window in my opinion
  7. The telegraph are quoting west Brom a bid was made but flatly turned down. Nixon said yesterday that we wouldn't be selling he just reported the bid.
  8. Latest from the telegraph still keeping an eye on the situation at boro and a couple of other deals being worked on
  9. Ryan Leonard close to joining Millwall, will be Savilles replacement and the player that's having the medical at Millwall...not Chapman.
  10. Nixon tweeting that Villa have joined the race for Puncheoun now, we need Boro to get their buisness done if Chapman going to be let out
  11. On Twitter nothing apart from putting a pic of a lion and cub on his profile.
  12. If Chapman leaves boro then only one place he is going...here. TM wouldn't have been talking up a deal as late as this morning if Chapman was off elsewhere
  13. It was named not sure if he is in it only know it was named as an article on rovers site,Brereton named in it
  14. Caddis has been paid off. Fisher has signed a new deal. On Chapman England under 20s named their squad today that could have something to do with his pic on Twitter
  15. The telegraph saying incomings and outgoings likely today. Sharpe saying could be 2 in
  16. Izzy Brown joined Leeds season long loan. Walters left Burnley joined Ipswich
  17. Where ever he goes he will expect to be first choice. He would just stay at villa if he was happy picking up a wage and not playing every week. Not a bad player but not better than Lenihan or Mulgrew so don't see him coming here hoping for 1 of them to get injured so he can get a game
  18. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2018/august/tony-thrilled-with-summer-backing/#.W4cNOfZCDNM.link He will be here permanent come January Mowbray talks about it being a long term deal
  19. Burnley will be in the championship next season. I hope though that Mowbray will put a stop to selling our better players to championship rivals. If the likes of Dack or whoever want a move or the club needs the money then I hope we will be selling to the premier league and not to championship rivals unless it's a footballing decision by the manager and he feels he can get someone better in the market.
  20. On the risk in the Brereton deal do players even have to be that good to see their value increase? Like I see on deadline day Boro put in a 13 million double bid for Saville and Wallace 12 months earlier Millwall had got them both for a million quid. Waghorn had been knocking about for ages one good season at ipswich and now he's worth 5 or 6 million. Brereton would have to be really really bad for us not to recoup at least half of what we paid if things go sideways and it doesn't work out. We got two highly rated England strikers for under 10 million and it will only get that high if they activate clauses by being a success. Its cracking buisness by Mowbray and the club.12 months ago if you looked at our squad, hardly any talent and no value. Even if we are forced to sell one or two down the line potentially it could put a big dent in our debt level. I don't care what anyone says the only way Venkys will leave imo is if the debt level comes way way down and nobody will buy us the way it is at the minute That's not me hoping we will sell our best players but being realistic If we don't go up this season and Dack plays anywhere near the level he did last season then I think we all have to accept he will be bought buy a premier league team and as sickening as it is for me to say it he would deserve to be playing at that level. But obviously i would expect a healthy portion of the transfer fee going back into the playing squad.
  21. Good preview. Ballache that the game is away this weekend then 13 long days till our next fix. If Dack and Armstrong are back we should go there to win.Its going to be a test if we go into the game as we where against Brentford.Brereton won't have the match sharpness for this one you would expect, maybe see him from the bench. Hope Evans has shaken off whatever knock he took last weekend. 1-1
  22. Not long left to get Maddison over the line. Be an absolute disgrace if we don't land him after spending all summer chasing him. Everyone out!
  23. Palmer wasn't injured.A family member was unwell he had to go back to London
  24. Mercerman hasn't been around lately is he banned?
