Will we want him?He looks ok but when everyone fit and if it's a choice between him and Rothwell for one of the slots beside Dack and Bennett then who would you pick?Rothwell for me. Armstrong and Brereton can play that position too I'd prefer Rothwell centrally but that's not going to happen so want to get him in the team

Well we could end up spending as much as 3 million on Armstrong if all the clauses in the deal are met and it had been a while since we had seen Any one over a million. It will still have been a busy and good window.We haven't sold anyone, we are building a nice team, blend of experience and hard work and youth with skill and creativity. Like I said I agree with you one or 2 more are needed if they are permanent great but if just loans not the end of the world

Dack is out of contract in 2021.He signed a new 3 year contract this summer in which we gave him better money

I definitely think we need one or 2 more coming in but i don't think they have to be loan to buys. If we sign Brererton then that proves to me we have a bit of money and the Venkys have at least come around to supporting the manager. IF the rumours about him wanting Freeman,Bauer and Trapp are correct then dependant on circumstance all 3 could be available in January, certainly Trapp will be.And the other 2 next summer. If those are the players he wants he might wait it out. We have bristol city away on Sunday then a 13 day break will give the injured players a chance to get back and Any new signings a chance bed in. I'd like to see Reed,Brereton,pacy winger(don't think we will) and a centre half(dont we will) It will be Brereton and Reed.If anymore I think he will bring in a goalkeeper or another wide striker type If it is just Brereton and Reed i'l still be happy enough with the window.Rome wasn't built in a day

He has looked good this season though. I frowned when I used to see his name on the team sheet but on current form he should be one of the first names on it. Can only hope we continue to see the Evans we have done since the back end of last season

I hope the club have a loan move lined up for Nuttall, he needs to go out so we can see how he does. I don't want to completely write him off but from the few games he has been involved in the first team I don't see him making the grade here. Let him out on loan keep a watchful eye on his progress and have a look at him when he gets back and if he isn't up to it then I expect he will be moved on.

I don't think Mowbray trusts Rothwell to play in centre midfield yet. I would love to see Rothwell playing deeper and driving us forward but I'm sure i remember Mogga saying in an interview that he has spoken with Rothwell and doesn't think he has the discipline to play as one of the two yet. Reed is a bit more of a defensive type. I think Mowbray prefers two tacklers and workers in that position at the moment. Hope Evans coming off yesterday was just a niggle, he has been excellent since the start of the season and back end of last season

I was against the Mowbray appointment and even last season in the early stages thought he wasn't the man for the job. Thought sacking Sam was a good idea but only because I had convinced myself that Venkys were bringing in a big name and were going to throw money at us.

Our favourite journo has been tweeting that Bristol City have made a loan move for Harrison Reed. Tweets that we are still in the driving seat and that we want a loan to buy if we can agree a fee. Disclaimer not saying I believe him or not just passing on what's been said

It wouldn't make sense to buy a talent but unproven in Brererton for 6 million then sell our beat player in Dack for just 4 million.If he goes it will be for more than 10 mill

If Dack has a good season then no less than what they paid for Maddison at Norwich.

Yeah thought the club were doing a cheap ticket offer on one of the early games?It don't really matter to me as have season ticket but if they did a cheap game and some of the non regulars seen the fight and passion of this team it might persuade a few to come back more regularly. I'm sure someone mentioned it from the fans forum. If we win or draw next weekend maybe we will see a few more on when we next play at home against Villa on the 15th and they will bring a big crowd.It is on the telly though.

Brererton was at the forest match this evening. Although the reports look like he will be joining i'l wait till I see him holding up the scarf before I fully believe it. It's been a strange one, yesterday we were hearing reports that Forest wanted 14 million, then we heard they rejected a bid of 10 million from an unnamed premier league club and now today he is on the verge of joining for 6 million?Doesn't add up to me. Although if the telegraph are actually running with it then it must be close

We will have a 13 day break after Bristol next Sunday due to the internationals will give us a bit of time to get Dack and Armstrong back fighting fit, will also give any signing we make a couple of weeks to bed in and learn what we are about.

Hope Smallwood proves Mowbray right but another bad performance today and surely that will see Smallwood on the bench in the next game
