  1. Sharpe tweeted no fee agreed as of yet for Brereton, club still working on it. Two in today will be "defensive types".
  2. Correct decision by the club if he isn't going to play to be fair. I'd like to see TM being a little braver and start Rothwell a little deeper
  3. If we sign Reed it will be to play in my opinion,Travis needs to play for development, if he isn't going to play much then he should go on loan. Not sure about Davenport, his injury could mean him out for longer than expected or TM doesn't think he is ready. If we sign both both Reed and Rodwell then we will have 8 players that can play in midfield,Reed, Rothwell,Rodweell, Travis, Davenport ,Bennett, Smallwood and Evans.
  4. That wasn't Brererton, like Tom said it was Lenihans brother
  5. I don't know Chaddy, Mowbray in that interview talking about his time at Everton and City and saying if he does come in the fans need to give him a chance. If we sign both both Reed and Rodwell, we will have those 2, Smallwood, Evans, Travis, Davenport and Rothwell that can play in midfield.Im presuming either Davenports injury is worst than first thought or Mowbray doesn't think he is ready. I presumw Travis will be going on loan?
  6. Chaddy has posted Mowbray's comments. TM said no interest In Anichebe so can people stop panicking? TM:"I would have to say hopefully there are some much bigger deals than free agents coming to the football club over the next nine days or so" That doesn't sound like just Rodwell and a couple of prem loan kids to me
  7. Mogga has ruled out Anichebe said no interest
  8. He did Neal his post match comment about incomings are on Sharpes Twitter. I think Chaddy posted them in this thread
  9. Mowbray said after the match Anichebe isn't one he is persuing
  10. Just going off what Nixon said on Twitter about Harrison. Not sure if it just a loan or loan to buy
  11. Yet according to Mowbray we agreed a 4 million deal for a player earlier in the window only for the player to go elsewhere for higher wages?
  12. I suppose Anichebe would give us an extra physical option up top but his injury and goalscoring record would be a worry
  13. Yeah the team showed great character tonight considering the players out and then Armstrong picking up an injury
  14. Surely Smallwood won't be starting on Saturday. See Nixon is linking us with Harrison reed from Southampton. Looked excellent when he first broke through at Southampton but hasn't really pushed on since
  15. Millwall are not shit.Tough team to beat.Look at their results already this season and they finished 9th last season
  16. Need to get Rothwell on the ball more, hit the post and had another effort that looked goalbound till Moore got his head in the way Can't see us getting back into this tho
  17. Lenihan is having a shocker tonight can't dispute that but he has been good at the back and he is much better than Downing. To be fair I'd say Mowbray knows a thing or two about centre backs and he has openly said we need to get to the premier league fast if we want to hold onto him as in his opinion will be a premier league player. We need players in , this result and injury list better get us moving in the market. We will get battered on Saturday if the side we have on now have to start
  18. Nonsense. You are in the minority in regards to your thoughts on Lenihan. Paul Downing a better cb than Lenihan lol. Yes Lenihan has been quality up until today.Have you watched our games? Do you know you remind me of a poster who used to be on here, dunnfc Ffs Armstrong injured now
  19. Strange you never comment when Lenihan has a good game, barring tonight he has been quality this season
  20. Don't think Mowbray trusts him playing deeper quite yet regardless of injuries. We desperately need 3 or 4 in, the bench is a joke tonight.
