Yeah agreed he would benefit from learning from Graham but is more than capable of stepping in when required and can still fill in wide of the 3 behind. I don't know why I'm wasting my time discussing this cus it ain't gonna happen but we wouldn't be buying the finished article here but massive potential imo
-
He said something similar before we announced Armstrong
-
Exactly playing 53 times in the championship by the time he is 19 shows he has potential
-
Nixon just tweeted "Did tell you Venkys had slaughtered more chickens than usual" suggests a signing
-
I don't think it's going to happen but we could have bid hours ago it just wasn't leaked till now.But like you say most likely nothing in it
-
Yeah I doubt we will sign him he has played wide but his natural position is centre forward
-
Yeah doubt it will happen either but if it came off I think potentially it could be a very good deal
-
Not sure Karanka is too keen on him Plus Forest have spent a bit this summer might want to re-coup a bit
-
6 footer, strong a bit nippy could work on his finishing but he is a talent. He has been around the first team since was 17 or 18.
-
Much better...chalk n cheese
-
No mate just think he would be a good signing when Warburton was in charge some of the big teams in the premier were supposedly sniffing around him,iv watched him on the telly quite a bit and he looked decent to me , with good potential to improve.

He has massive potential
-
Your buying massive potential with him trust me
-
Where that Chaddy? Is there a link now he would be potentially a very good signing
-
They didn't need to be last minute panic buys though decent players within our price range have moved to clubs.Edwards would have improved us
-
We are short in a couple of key areas though. I meant would you be happy going into the season with just Graham as a decent target man type or do you think Nuttall can do a job?
-
Im not doubting we will get loans in but i don't believe we will be bringing in with fixed fee obligation. It will be the same as last season with the likes of Armstrong, Chapman and even Payne where Mowbray will say we could pursue permanent deals but there will be nothing guaranteed and we will be in the same position next summer only this time we will have to buy two strikers as Graham's fitness could be worse the following season
-
Yes but we missed out on some good players within our price range (if indeed we do have a good budget) that went to other clubs..Edwards, Wildschut to name two
-
Maddison is available for 2.5 million. You can't tell me there aren't other players of quality that would improve us undoubtedly out there that would be willing to come? Edwards cost Ipswich a million quid, he would have added something
-
It is bad management that though bigdog, Why bid 4 million the night before the deadline ends on a player where the chairman said he was going nowhere a couple of weeks ago. I mean maybe we have been upping our bids gradually for a while and it only got leaked last night, but even in that case what was Freeman target z as surely we should have more irons in the fire and get something decent in before the perm window closes
-
It's not that sad in my case I can't be on my phone at work and do 6:30-18:30.Had a couple of days holiday left in my allocation left so took it today as the manager led me to believe we would be signing players on a permanent so I expected us to be busy, more fool me
-
I'm of the belief there is a bit of money there as Mowbray has kept repeating it. But making a 4 million bid the night before the window closes(if true) and then not bringing any one in on a perm on deadline day is terrible and that's down to the manager and recruitment team. Just want to add I'm behind Mowbray and think he has done a good job but an injury to Dack or Graham and we are in trouble
-
Exactly this and what's the bets the loan signings that do come in won't have fixed fees and clause to become permanent in January in the deals. For example I don't see what benefit Southampton would have in doing such a deal in regards to Gallagher, they loan him to us without the clause and he does very well then they can sell him on to another club who can afford to pay a higher transger fee than us. I mean he didn't even do well last season yet was linked with a 7 million move to Stoke (wether there was any truth to that I don't know)
-
For me to get the best out of Dack you need a frontman like Graham who can hold the ball up and bring Dack and others into play.
