  1. It's not been announced yet I don't think, I was wondering myself Telegraph said it had to be submitted today probably announced tomorrow
  2. Thanks for the hardwork Herbie and the rest of the brfcs team
  3. Has it been confirmed we don't have a year's option I know the club didn't mention an option when they announced the signing but they didn't with Hyam either
  4. Next season it will be back to playing the kids from the academy model and the excuses for not spending any money will be "we don't want to block the pathway to young Dunn, young Tyjon and young Litherland "
  5. Are you there mate or is it available to watch online?
  6. Nixon saying Schlupp agreed to halve hie wages going to Celtic. He was on 60k a week at Palace So has signed for Celtic on 30 grand a week.No chance we where ever paying that and as for Wallace, why didn't we get him?He wanted to leave earlier in the window when he was out of favour. The budget is poor but guarantee it was chaos behind the scenes to with differing opinions Arguing amongst themselves over who to bid for.
  7. We need ohashi back in the team I'd be fuming if they left him out, he is back in a few weeks It should be Sigurdsson left out, or Pickering if he isn't going be back training till mid march
  8. Toth should start v Wolves and if he has a good game should keep his place
  9. Because our form is poor ,8 points from 11 games is relegation form not top 6 Dennis hasn't kicked a ball competively in 9 month .Woodrow has hardly played and Kargbo is an unknown They are hardly signings where you think to yourself "top 6 here we come"
  10. I don't believe they will ever have a realistic enough valuation of the club to change hands.Certainly not as a championship club If they wanted to sell the club at a reasonable price, they would have takers now, as would every other championship club that make losses (most of them)
  11. Is that because you feel if they stop putting money in they will sell up/leave? If that is the reasoning I think you are sadly mistaken, if bills need to be paid and there isn't money In the bank or a player to sell to cover it, they will send the money over We will watch ourselves get worse quality players, the stadium will go into further disrepair and we will be playing league one football at best As if we do go down spending a couple of million won't make us the financial heavyweights of the division like it did last time
  12. We really miss not having Travis and Tronstad in the midfield. It was a big mistake not signing a midfielder of decent quality
  13. Iv not been impressed by cantwell with the exception of a small bit of form but tonight he looks like he is carrying an injury a couple of times he slowed himself down going for a ball and altho he has been poor in possession overall he has been working hard If he is carrying an injury and being asked to play that's not on him that's on the club not being quicker getting signings in
  14. Why I'd We haven't spent on a fee over a £1 million in 4 windows. Majority of incoming players are short term deals or loans . The team management and recruitment have done very well with such limited resources but longer term only way we are heading is down the leagues Nobody is saying we should go out and spend £10 million on a player but only paying fees of £1 million or short deals or loans isn't going to work long term if we don't want to eventually drop leagues Travis, Brittain, tronstad hyam etc all going into their last year in the summer and they will be replaced by cheap buys or loans on young players which can go either way
  15. He hasn't played a lot in any position over the last few seasons When iv watched him his best games have come from the right hand side of the 3 behind a central striker
  16. He is talking a load of shite One of his replies to someone was "Eustace got the experience he wanted " Now up to him to deliver top 6" I then replied to him that Eustace didn't got what he wanted as you said he wanted BTA,Schlupp, Bamford, Wallace etc He then came back saying that those players where unaffordable
  17. Yes top 6 chasing teams have signed out of favour players not denying that The difference is they sign out of favour players from a higher level , they don't sign players who can't get in the team at the bottom club ,or defenders who can't make their place in League 1 As for Armstrong, his goal record In the championship is excellent, not arsed how he had done in the prem, West Brom havent signed him for the prem they have signed him to make top 6. Dennis hasn't played a competitive game in 9 months. Armstrong is a much safer signing than Dennis. It will take him time before he can play 90 minutes
  18. The window ended better than expected But it does show how far the club have fallen under venkys with the amount of posts on Facebook describing the window as excellent
  19. At the end of the day we have signed a 34 year old who couldn't get in a relegation threatened team A defender who couldn't get in a league one side A left back released by his current club mid season and only contracted here till the summer A forward in Woodrow who hasn't had many minutes for a club struggling for results at the bottom end of the table And a forward who hasn't played a competitive match in 9 months . Do you really believe Eustace is happy with that? Do you really believe supporters should be happy with that?
  20. I'm not comparing them as players I said Armstrong is a better goalscorer, and I think stats back me up in that And due to the fact Armstrong can come in straight away ,fit and raring to go he is a better signing for this window It could be weeks before Dennis can play 90 minutes
  21. Doesn't change the fact Armstrong will be fit and ready to go in a league he has an excellent scoring record in Dennis hasn't played competitive football in ages and has been a 1 in 3 or 4 man throughout his career in England And on your first point, Dennis wouldn't get in the Southampton team either. And both of them ain't prem quality
  22. I think Dennis Is a better all round player than Armstrong You are comparing from years ago tho. When did Dennis last play a competitive minute in the Premier league? Armstrong is a better goalscorer, and a better signing for this window that's a fact like.
  23. Compare championship records I don't think Dennis has ever scored more than 10 in a league season in England
