  1. Meanwhile, back at Brockhall, SWAG fiddles while Rome burns 🤷‍♂️
  2. If they didn’t, they should be worth a Bob or two 😊
  3. Well I haven’t risked it, just renewed for yet another season at the Ewood Fun Palace 😊
  4. Being drummed into them in readiness for first team debuts 🙈
  5. As per previous posts, when Thomas was starting we won lost matches. Out of the team, 5 from 24 and no wins 🤷‍♂️
  6. Yep, I was there. They didn’t take too kindly to getting beat and was quite menacing as they were on pitch heading towards us and coins being chucked in our direction.
  7. We were thinking similar in 87/88 when we went there and won 1:4 to make the play offs. Admittedly, lighting doesn’t usually strike twice down Deptford way.
  8. I don’t know about his fitness but if for enough for the bench, I think his very limited use these last few weeks has been a big error.
  9. They are on the up, look at their crowds. ST’s capped at 21,000 for next season and all sold, they could have sold total capacity of the ground on ST basis.
  10. I think the section who don’t want him is a very small number. I really fear for us, if JDT leaves.
  11. A bit like this coming Millwall scenario then 🙈
  12. I’m with you. Yes, he’s made mistakes but on balance, and swimming against the tide, he’s performed minor miracles. Been let down by the bureaucrats since day 1, the players when push came to shove, poor officiating and a more than healthy dose of rotten luck.
  13. He’s been awful in his cameos from the bench but before the Sheffield match in which he was cup tied, he was playing well but more importantly, the team was winning.
  14. We were winning when Thomas was playing wide and making a difference. We haven’t won since he was dropped to the bench.
  15. I’m worried a win at Millwall will see us out the Teeside curmudgeon in the play offs, I’m not sure that I could stand that 🙈
  16. I wouldn’t, he’s been one of the worse culprits in this death spiral, his form has deserted him.
  17. I’ve stated this already, 5 points from 24 isn’t good enough and JDT has made mistakes and we have had wretched luck. However, I think the worse possible outcome is for us to lose the Manager. He will have learnt a lot this year, back him and we could have a decent chance next year.
  18. Actually, that doesn’t sound too bad to me 😊
  19. We are stuck in a circle of despair and every chance we get to break it, we fuck it up on or off the pitch, and frequently both. Kick in the teeth, after kick in the teeth. Gut churning capitulations, season ticket prices out of kilter with the local demographic and competing clubs, fewer through the gate, less commercial receipts and therefore, downgrading of playing staff and the asset fabric of the club. This year was the chance to turn the corner of terminal decline and we have fucked it up again, on and off the pitch.
  20. I must admit of the three, I would prefer Millwall
