  1. And almost certain that one of them, Willem Tomlinson is a Dingle 🙈
  2. He promised a further, more in-depth interview after the appeal process and I’m still waiting. If you promise to do something, you must follow through with it, no matter how difficult or uncomfortable. As it is, like you I have read the Arbitrator’s judgement in full, so I have all the detail I need to confirm that the abject failure was all down to the incompetence of officials at Blackburn Rovers.
  3. We never seemed to get a decision. Just a few off the top of my head: the Cardiff goal pulled back for a pen, the Buckley red card and in last week, Coventry handball, Cork ‘red’ and Barnes handball. It doesn’t appear to even out, like we are cursed 😡
  4. I’m not blaming the manager, he’s worked miracles with the tools at his disposal. Let down by Broughton / Waggott and if backed, he will likely get us there.
  5. The view from a Ribble Valley living room, packed with Dingles and errant Rovers. Some valid points but still can’t understand why as a Rovers fan of sixty years, you elect not to support your club when most needed.
  6. The long sleeved version got its debut at Dumpdale and after much consideration, a second chance again last night. It won’t being worn at any future Rovers fixtures ☹️
  7. The only thing I lay at JDT’s door is the limited use of Adam Wharton, post his Blackpool debut. Over a season, especially one in which we have struggled to create and score, playing him would definitely have garnered additional points and seen us in the play offs.
  8. I thought we played well last night but the old issues killed us, the final pass, poor crossing, no one brave enough to take a shot on and the beyond dreadful set pieces. We are so bad that corners and free kicks provide us with no offensive benefit at all, it is just woeful. I really like JDT, he has done well but just hasn’t been given the tools to do the job, the January window fiasco was criminal.
  9. Another for Hirst tonight in a key promotion battle. I don’t think he was ever the answer but he didn’t get many chances and letting him go without bringing a replacement in was a huge mistake.
  10. I think we are cursed. After the recent Sheffield, Coventry, North End and tonight’s match, we just have no luck and never seem to get a decision, it’s heartbreaking and seems unfair. I was really happy with the player’s effort and the support from the crowd was fantastic. The concern was that we dominated large chunks of the match and yet I can’t recall a clear chance or working the keeper. Contrast that with the Dingles one shot and a goal, why the hell do we not ever take a punt on shooting 🙈
  11. Yes, 30+ years before the Indians darkened our door. Jordan Rhodes hits the post, Gary Bowyer decides it’s a good idea to bring Dingle slayer Dunny off and Robinson flaps and with it, the tables turned 🙈
  12. Hopefully you’ll be feeling much better by 10 PM 🤞
  13. Good man, everyone welcome and everyone needed.
  14. Maybe Greg asked Sylvester to do it, at the last minute 😊
  15. Come on, when is that last time that we got anything right from an off-field perspective 😂
  16. I believe it is 8k with 5k in lower and 3k upper.
  17. The dingles aren’t wanted, probably couldn’t come if they wanted to and in any event their job is done. The Rovers contingent are going missing in action 🤷‍♂️
  18. Fully agree, SWAG needs to follow the path well travelled by Notlob and Knob End, to great effect. Unfortunately, that isn’t happening and also understand the Sky impact and the difficult economic climate but still, anyone with the club’s interests should be there for a single fixture and given the opposition and what rides on the outcome.
  19. Come on, that is the lot of a football fan. Most would love the chance to take a great step towards promotion and humble their bitter rivals. Hopefully, you’ll be joining me and others there to support your team and not sitting it out and making excuses not to attend, like Mercer.
  20. If ‘passionate’ folk like Mercer and many others that I know, wont turn up to support their team, in this fixture, with so much on the line….. how on earth do we ever fill the ground !!!
  21. I’d love to see Ewood packed like the Oxford match but happy the Dingle allocation has been restricted and the most important thing tonight is the result.
