  1. We should have kept the receipt for Brereton. ?
  2. Playing Brentford this season will be an interesting subplot. Raya conceded 5 against them - although Mowbray throwing the towel in 5 minutes into the second half didn’t help him. It’s a shame that we have had to experience his apprenticeship and having developed him somebody else will probably get the benefit. Even more galling is “undisclosed fee”. The fee would definitely have made a difference in people’s view of the deal.
  3. But we still had to score three goals. Personally I think we should have kept Raya a number two and brought in a new keeper and centre back. Chances are Raya didn’t fancy that and his agent put the feelers out. As always though Raya will be judged on who replaces him. Can’t help but feel that we will be rolling out Joe Hart.
  4. I’ve just tried the same in Safari, Chrome and Firefox. Logged in = poor refreshing Logged out = fast, no lag Cookies?
  5. Just tried it and it worked great - lagless scrolling. Then I logged in and the same problems started again.
  6. No different. It’s worse when scrolling on longer pages which is why I thought it might be a refresh issue. Didn’t you make some adjustments because of issues with the banners? Seems to have flared up since that was being talked about. Oh, and this is a new, intermittent, ‘feature’. ... colourful...
  7. Same. I’ve just tried bbc.co.uk and the problem doesn’t happen. This has only just begun happening since the recent changes. I think since the banner adjustments? Is there a script running a page refresh and resize ad banners maybe? Just to add a different dimension which might make you less sympathetic but may help, I use an ad blocker (Neverads). Could this be a problem? (Although I have it set up for Safari so might not be an issue if the problem also happens in Chrome).
  8. No worries mate. Just for info it’s the same on 4G as well as broadband.
  9. Undisclosed fee. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2019/july/david-raya-departs/
  10. 12.3.2 Seems to be a delay when scrolling before the page refreshes. Further you scroll the longer the lag.
  11. Do we have no network at all? Having nobody lined up smacks of no planning whatsoever. Almost looks like Johnson gave them an ultimatum and forced their hand, and now they have to react. Although, in fairness, Facebook is probably the best place to recruit from. ??‍♂️
  12. You said our current squad is better than it was last season. That’s false. Now you are just posting stuff about cry babies to get likes from the usual crew. Sad.
  13. @OnePhilT I don’t know what’s happened mate but the sure is barely useable right now. Blank screen lag and just generally sluggish. (iOS12)
  14. It really isn’t. Rodwell was PL standard. Johnson is Championship. Conway has been replaced by an older (!) player. Reed hasn’t been replaced. Downing hasn’t been replaced. Our goalkeeper (at best) is unsettled or (at worst) leaving. There is still time but we are marginally weaker. However, the fact that we have brought in two free transfers despite lots of talk does not bode well.
  15. He’s talking about survival. You brought up relegation. Stop being so negative.
  16. We’ve replaced Conway and Rodwell so far. These two were the least priority in my view. We need to replace Mulgrew, Reed, Graham, and its looking like Raya. Loads to do. There isn’t yet any “reason to be optimistic”. Right now my season ticket feels more like a loyalty card than an entertainment pass.
  17. He’s an honest lad with a good attitude and will fit in well with the group... pal.
  18. It was inevitable we’d be linked with him eventually - especially now Raya is on his way. Right age though. Glad to hear that he’s an affable chap. AAK has still got it #AAKITK
  19. And still only 7 players. How on earth are they going to start the season? Despite the rivalry, I genuinely feel for their fans.
  20. The bloke who posted that first photo said the lighting in the room made it look lighter. I’ve still not seen it in the flesh yet myself.
