  1. Given how late we are getting them on sale, if it was the end of June we’d have about a week to renew. And we all know that Waggott doesn’t like people queuing at the ticket office!
  2. Ball juggling is 99% practise Unless one is completely uncoordinated. Aside from technical ability, what Tugay had was incredible vision and imagination as well as an unrivalled coolness. Combine these things together and you have one hell of a footballer.
  3. FFS. Facebook is already unbearable. Amazing how many people feel the need to remind you that they are Liverpool fans despite being life-long non-Liverpudlians! Even MOTD is trying to compare Klopp to Shankley! ??‍♂️
  4. Performances of the night: 1) Spurs 2) Streaker 3) Liverpool 4) Spurs finishing Harry Kane was picked on reputation tonight and Pochettino got what he deserved for shafting Moura. He’s probably already on his way to Barca anyway.
  5. Liverpool have just pulled off the biggest robbery ever seen in football. Shite for 86 minutes and get the sucker punch goal with Spurs well on top.
  6. Don’t think the mods would like me to post any screen shots on here put it that way!
  7. Just think, we could be watching Ajax v Barca!
  8. Word to the wise: don’t google “Vitaly Uncensored”. Spoilers available on Twitter! #streaker
  9. As it’s 2019, she’ll probably accuse the steward of inappropriate behaviour and win!
  10. He was a silly boy but I can’t help but think Mane aimed for Sissoko’s outstretched arm. Clever if he did.
  11. If this finishes 1-0 it might be the dullest game of football ever played, never mind cup final, let alone Champions League final. Tottenham need someone who knows wher the goal is. Playing Kane is looking like the huge mistake many of us thought it would be.
  12. If we have a midfield next season that can justifiably make Rodwell back up then we will be doing very well.
  13. RIP Jose Antonio Reyes https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48483157 Only 35.
  14. No but it would be acceptable progress as it would mean we had a great season to finish 3rd - 6th. I would be happy with a play-off place. (Unless we were second with three games left and lost them all, of course!)
  15. Dylan McGeough weighing up options according to the northern Echo. https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/17676346.sunderland-midfielder-interests-blackburn-aberdeen-and-others/
  16. If they had brought them out two months ago I’d have renewed by now. Right now, it’s the middle of holiday season and I’m having to nurse the credit card through it. I’ll be renewing at the last possible moment and even then only out of a sense of duty. Let’s face it there is very little to get excited about.
  17. It does make one wonder how joined up Mowbray and Waggott are.
  18. Nor does it test the team. We had similar planning in 2011. I seem to recall Kean coming out with some bull like winning being a habit. We hammered the likes of Curzon Ashton, Oldham, Kendall and Harrogate. Lost to Villa and drew with Preston. However, it really isn’t any kind of preparation, we lost the opening three PL games, winning one in 12, and it was also the season we were relegated. Ironically, our glamour pre-season tie was away at Rangers... and we lost.
  19. Round and round we go. Mowbray has already confirmed this himself. ”I could have bought six or seven players for £1m each, whatever we paid for Ben, or we buy a talent that we think is going to be a massive asset for the football club down the line.” https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17568308.rovers-boss-tony-mowbray-happy-with-ben-brereton-progress/ Really not sure why this point keeps being disputed as some kind of defence. Although the price tag was stupid, well over the odds and proven to be poor value (so far), ultimately he needs to either come good this season or go out on loan (ideally abroad) in January.
