  1. I remember people saying he didn’t look like a footballer but not that he wouldn’t ever be one. ...Buckley on.
  2. He meant ‘least dispossessed’. Hardly ever loses the ball from a tackle.
  3. Normal service resumes for Brezza. Over the bar from three yards.
  4. By the way, @S8 & Blue. In case you don’t see it, Brereton is playing as a centre forward. And scored. Mowbray eventually seems what some of the fans do. It just takes a few months.
  5. Well the alternative is that Bell was just doing what he liked and Mowbray was just watching gormlessly. Why can’t you just give Mowbray some credit for seeing something you didn’t. Sheesh.
  6. Bell and Arma were both playing as wide men. Williams was getting hammered. Mowbray changed it.
  7. Decent save from Leuts, then up the other end a bit of ping pong and Arms gets it!
  8. We’ve gone to 4 now. Bell was not playing full back originally.
  9. Not sure if Travis will come back out second half. Just hope it’s Buckley and not Bennett that comes on...
  10. They have looked a bit lacklustre today. Dack is all over the pitch but more ambling around than all action. I think he’s missing his mate.
  11. It was a good five minute spell for Brezza. Good interplay and an excellent finish when played in one-on-one.
  12. Williams is no good in the left of a three. He’s getting exposed time and time again. They’ll eventually score from a move down that side if Bell doesn’t cover. The need to get Bell at left back in a four and move Williams inside where he has been far better recently.
  13. Brereton is playing as a striker. Scargill would be proud!
  14. Leutweiler must be the only keeper who gets shorter the higher he jumps.
  15. Can’t resist, eh? Young lads on the bench (hopefully get some minutes), Brezza getting a chance to shine (hopefully as a CF). We have few options in the goalkeeping department. A few caveats but it’s better than the same tired choices. I was far more interested in us beating PNE and Wigan before we got back-to-back hammered.
  16. *Thud* Seriously though - how do you know this?
  17. Very happy with that! Will be an interesting game. Here’s hoping for Brezza to get one today!!
  18. It’s fair to say that as an experiment (being kind) it has been a dismal failure. I still wouldn’t re-open it to Rovers fans until gates increased. I wonder if they will try something different next season like a cut price ST with a PL pledge? Not on Waggott’s watch! It’d be great if we could have one of those sliding scale price reductions/rebates the more STs are sold.
  19. Can’t say I blame them having been relegated - especially at those prices. Fair play to those hardy 900 or so.
  20. Annual meeting with the owners to discuss “the football team”. Presumably the season ticket pricing, operating budget, and recruitment budget - based on the long-standing recruitment - will all be submitted ahead of discussions. All well behind schedule compared the other Championship clubs.
  21. Souey was a winner. Finishing with 60 points this season would have been as bad as finishing with 50.
  22. Nothing advertised, just the fanzone (beer tent) and the bloke on the P.A. announcing the team. Great day for something though.
  23. What if the manager is seen as the main man, and the Chief Executive is an administrative role?
