  1. Indeed. In Feb I'll go to the DW twice - once to watch Rovers, once to watch Wigan rugby. For Rovers I can't drink beer whilst watching the game, for Wigan I can. Annoying. Anyway, glad that the other leagues have all started back up again. Dortmund had a little wobble vs Stuttgart yesterday - only 11 points clear now!! Not looking good for St Pauli though, slipped into the bottom play off place. Also, there's been very little coverage here (compared to the African Nations anyway) but Australia have made it to the semi-s of the Asian cup. They play Uzbekistan, so you gotta think they should win that! Japan vs Rep. Korea in the other.
  2. Just watched Stuttgart vs Bayern for the second time in 4 days. On Sunday it was 5-3 to Bayern, tonight in the cup 6-3 to Bayern! Both pretty decent games with some great goals and terrible defending. Then Real madrid just been Levante 8-0. Some crazy scores around in the German and Spanish cups.
  3. Yea, but Rafa is in charge and intent on ballsing everything up it seems!! I'm sure from his time at Liverpool he wasn't bothered much about young talent, unless it was Spanish. He's probably of the same opinion at Inter.
  4. Jonny Stead just scored a cracker for Bristol City!
  5. Andre Ooijer got sent off for a challenge equally as stupid as Samba's vs Auxerre tonight. An Auxerre sub also got sent off from the sidelines too.
  6. Yes
  7. Big shock in La Liga this weekend. Hercules with star players Trezeguet and Royston Drenthe beat Barcelona 2-0 at the Nou Camp!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1QhUkxcZBs
  8. Not in England but this is pretty amazing: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-11086299
  9. Now as much as we'd like to throttle a ref now and again, I've never seen anyone have a go before... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8iYnBYm8Gw&feature=player_embedded
  10. Haha, that's ace. I can only imagine what would happen if Roberts or Dunn attempted it!!
  11. Just got back from watching the late showing of Toy Story. Brilliant!!
  12. I was looking forward to seeing this. May just stick with the animated version then.
  13. Robin Hood must surely be one of the most remade films ever?
  14. Erm, I think it is because I'm in my own little group. I can't plus anyone posts/members either. Oh well. Can't see Inter throwing this away now.
  15. Yea. Inter must score. Italy use the head-to-head thing rather than goal difference.
  16. Just goes to show it is a fine line between making it and not. But for all these players who do not make it, there is hopefully one, like Jones who come through and make a proper impact. btw surely Graham Coughlan has retired!! He wasn't that young when we were winning the league.
  17. Dramatic end to the Spanish games tonight. Going into injury time it was looking like Mallorca were going to make the Champions League. Then with 30 seconds left, a teenager Rodri scored with some kind of flying kick to send Sevilla into the Champs League.
  18. St. Pauli were promoted on Sunday (barring Augsburg over coming a 14 goal difference) ~~ Will certainly bring some excitement to the Bundesliga next season. Hopefully they'll last a little longer than last time!!
  19. He might be able to, but he wouldn't speak to English TV in Dutch would he?
  20. I've seen a couple of her videos before, she's really good. Wonder what Simon Cowell would make of that if it was on britains got talent!
  21. Looks like Roma have just thrown away Serie A with a defeat at home to Sampdoria. Shame! haha And St Pauli won 6-1 to give themselves a gap of 4 points over 3rd place with 4 games to go. Nearly there!
  22. The race for the title in France seems pretty crazy. 6 teams within 3 points of the lead. http://uk.soccerway.com/national/france/ligue-1/2009-2010/regular-season/
  23. football365 used to sell quite a few.
