  1. Is Chapman's move creating space for your client.....sorry friend
  2. To be fair, you have a track record against Buckley
  3. You only have to look at the last two seasons. If Mowbray needs to blame a defender he takes Nyambe off and says he felt his hamstring. Usually this means Bennett at right back but this season it has been JRC. Now it looks like Buckley is to play right back.
  4. Who hasn't? We have only right back and his tight hamstring reappears as we need a scapegoat for Mowbray again? No wonder he will walk away at the end of the season. He maybe genuinely injured but I suspect the usual blame game has started again.
  5. Did Nyambe appear injured to anyone else? There was no signal that I saw or was it a case of I need to make a change so lets start with Nyambe as I cant take my usual midfield 3 off sub as Holtby was already a sub?
  6. How do you know Pearson was offered after Bowyer. Lambert was within 24 hours of Bowyer going so Im presuming he was the main target all along.
  7. Carry on playing like this and it will be the same story as this is where we are heading
  8. He has to go now!! Nothing else to say!
  9. For those who say we are more attack minded this season can I ask in the last month can you name one game where you can say we worked the opposition goalkeeper too much? I genuinely cannot remember a game where we created a lot of chances. I'm not included Armstrong shoot from anywhere because they are not creating but actually wasting good positions. Nor can I remember games we've lost where you think we were unlucky but I can certainly think of games where I thought we very lucky to get a result.
  10. Ahh......lets go back to Mowbray's plan A.......that is a busted flush as well. We will just pass the ball around in our half instead of around the half way line.
  11. Personally would have Downing at Left Back. Either Bell or Douglas at Left Back is just giving a goal away.
  12. Weve tried three full backs this season with little success, I'd be tempted to throw Downing in there as he wouldnt make the same basic mistakes that Bell or Douglas has made and is just as quick as Douglas.
  13. The ability to change style is not down to personnel but poor coaching. Example in prime is Sam Gallagher. He reminds me of a player from our past who under a proper manager changed his playing style to become more physical but was a total flop here. Step forward Kevin Davies under Big Sam. At this club he hid was bullied by central defenders and looked and was a total flop. Allerdyce for all his faults transformed him into a player who teams feared. Gallagher has all the physical attributes to be the same but Mowbray's solution is to play him wide and hide him. That isnt having confidence in a player. When he has come on as a sub he has shown he has the ability to be more physical. When he starts Mowbray plays him wide Mowbray is slowly changing the style back to his trusted formula because he hasnt the confidence in his players. He will go more defensive and negative rather than play to players strengths and Dack coming back will only speed this up. That may sound like a criticism of Dack but it isn't. Mowbray will have him playing as the false No.9 soon, we will also see Armstrong, Gallagher wide and two defensive midfielders. It may have already happened if Evans was fit.
  14. Against Huddersfield last season Holtby, Armstrong and Dack looked good as an attacking trio. I think as a front three Dack, Elliott and Armstrong could be an exciting prospect. Dack and Elliott are capable of interchanging roles so that no one has to stay wide and I'm hoping that Armstrong is. Im just concerned that Mowbray will continue to try and shoehorn Gallagher into the XI and where will Brereton fits. The key will be the midfield behind them and the full backs ability to support attacks
  15. Not with our defence he wouldn't
  16. It wouldnt surprise me to see Jones at West Brom with Big Sam. An ex-Wigan defender might be available as a consequence.
  17. As you say I dont think Travis fits the present formation to be fair but out of the three Id say it would be Johnson to make way.
  18. Travis hasn't got the vision of Holtby nor the ability to carry the ball of Rothwell I dont think
  19. Pike playing. Looks like he is not needed for first team duties this week.
  20. He doesnt happen to be a certain League One midfielder's agent by any chance?
  21. Why does it have to Johnson who gets dropped for Davenport? Both were on the park when Davenport scored
  22. Personally I think that Holtby and Rothwell will be the further forward of the midfield as one as the passing ability and the other has the ability to burst forward with the ball that neither Johnson or Travis has. Dack has a long road back to fitness so I'd be amazed if it is anybody other than Chapman he will be replacing in the squad.
  23. If you say so....... I can see your logic with Williams and Nyambe but not with Bell. If Bell, Nyambe, Williams and Vardy were offered to clubs tomorrow which ones would end up in premiership, championship and League One. The only reason why I see your logic with Williams is it was rumoured that Swansea were looking at him in the summer. I also can't see Solihull being able to compete with slightly higher teams for Vardy.
  24. I think he means Ayala is the cart horse and the other three played in our League One promotion team.
