  1. Prices, constantly winning are two of the contributing factors of poor crowds as well as you say dodgy streaming. But their are other things such as ease of getting tickets, car parking costing the earth and where to go before and after the match means that the whole experience is not worth the hassle especially if the football is crap
  2. Didnt at Coventry....poor first even worse 2nd
  3. Actually think that Left back or LWB is his best position. At half time I was suggesting putting him to RWB and going three at the back with Pickering at LWB. Pickering being ill actually helped Eustace's decision but what ever way the decision was arrived at it was a great one.
  4. As you say the Sky Commentary team made a big thing about the time it took the ref last week saying how composed he was. There are times when refs can be too quick to react at times and make rods for their own back.
  5. I agree that selection should be based on tactics and form but not the opposition as I think you should set up to your strengths and not to nulify the opposition. When was the last time we started with two strikers, genuine question? Colin Hendry started his life as a striker but it is clear that his best position was centre half so I dont get your point that because Dolan started his Rovers career as a Right Winger he can be utilised there. I would argue there is a case for both Hedges and Dolan if you are going to play inverted with the wide men cutting in and shooting or for Dolan if you want to apply the high press as he will do the closing down playing centrally.
  6. Last time I listen to Chaddy 🤣
  7. Today's ref was a premiership ref. Says a lot about the standard of referees
  8. To be fair Gueye made the runs but the others were to slow to release the ball but I agree he was disappointing. Although what I will say is that the service to him was shocking as we couldn't find out players all game.
  9. I think permiership refs have been told to clamp down and book any foul. Didn't the recent Chelsea game ended with 15 bookings?
  10. I agree he just needs to learn to control himself
  11. Because we have the same owners, CEO. The old recruitment team also had players who cost not much through the door the ones that cost serious money didn't happen. Cantwell will cost serious wages and money and hasn't been announced yet. Until he is through the door and on the pitch there will be doubts
  12. We had this in January with the yank. Until he plays I'm not getting excited
  13. Until JRC, Brittan, Pickering and Carter go down injured in the next couple of weeks, then no different than last season
  14. Goal conceded after our substitution for the fourth time this season. Coincidence?
  15. All the rumour was that Sammy was having a medical for Ipswich, the medical could have been in Manchester in the morning and the joined up with Rovers in the afternoon. So I'll start a rumour now saying that he failed the medical in Manchester that was held at Tameside Royal Infirmary on Tuesday morning. I work in Ashton and he was in the waiting room with a work colleague of mine. 🤣
  16. If we did then it was with an entirely different management team bar Waggot
  17. Dont think so.....was it ever confirmed he was a target or just people on here putting two and two together? I thought the wide men we were/are after is the one who has gone to Cardiff and Dembele?
  18. Id have thought with his injury record, if he had a niggle he wouldn't have played.
  19. Both Derby goals came straight after our subs. I dont think its coincidence. I suspect the poor marking was subs not picking up players
  20. or judged to perfection. Did it go in?🤣
  21. How many did Charlie Mulgrew score direct from corners? It shouldnt happen if you put someone on the near post.
  22. Im amazed you've learnt nothing from Jan, McGuire did all of this and still didn't become a Rovers player. dont believe anything until they've played in the famous blue n white
  23. Why all the fuss about which number represents a position? Since squad numbers they mean nothing. Sam Gallagher wore number no.9 for years, when was he a centre forward :🤣?
