I can see us bringing in another CM after Sonny is likely to be out for a month or two. Eustace said we were "loose" in midfield yesterday which is a nice way of saying he thought the midfield was rubbish. We simply can't be playing Forshaw/JRC/Buckley from the start until Sonny comes back. The rumours of us being interested in signing O'Brien seem very plausible and he would be a cracking signing. I think he would come here but can we afford his wages. -

Not been good enough. Game changed when Tronstad went off. Forshaw offers nothing. -

It feels like we've really gone old school with how we're approaching transfers. Eustace is very much in control of who we are targeting, no doubt about that. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, but also probably why Park left. Given what Eustace has done so far with us, give him all the control he wants. He clearly knows what he's doing. -
A fantastic result last night and dare I say the performance of a promotion chasing team. We didn't play particularly well or ever get out of first gear...yet we won 3-0. Subs changed the game and we just had that little but more quality than them. We got lucky as it was a definite penalty for them. I still would have fancied us to go onto win though. What a strange player Gueye is. He played like prime Drogba when he came on yesterday.

Are there better options though that we can afford and that would join us? We're fishing in a very small pond. Cannon should be the one we're pushing the boat out for but we've got about two penny's to spend as per. -

Bamford would be a massive upgrade on our current striking options so I'd welcome him here. His injury record is appalling but if we could get a good half a season out of him then it could be a very smart move. -

Spot on. The expectation levels have been lowered so much by the current regime that some think Sanderson and Forshaw are OK signings. Constant downgrading of the squad and these are two more examples of that. The miracles Eustace is performing is papering over the cracks of a really poor squad that has no assets left and we've sold our best players and didn't re-invest a penny. -

Sanderson and Forshaw. Is that really good enough? Cover players but deary me. We're supposedly pushing for top 6 and bring in a player who can't get in a lge 1 team and a player who can't get in a team bottom of the championship. That really is not good enough for a club that's sold Wharton and Sammie for big money. -

Forshaw. Cheap and cheerful so that one will happen. Constant downgrading of the squad every window. Baker wasn't great but we've even downgraded further with Forshaw. I guess we've come to expect it now. -

Huddersfield are spending £3m on a player. Baffling how lge 1 clubs show more ambition and financial muscle in the transfer market than we do. -

Didn't think Baker added much. JRC needs to be in the middle until Trav gets back. We almost certainly now need to bring in cover in CM. -

I agree, steady eddie but nothing more. No great loss if true. -

Schlupp would be a no from me. Yes, he's definitely better than what we have but he's not the game changer we need. -
I agree with the comments about Cantwell. Thought it was a massive coup to get him and he'd be head and shoulders above the other players in our team, but he's not really shown anything aside from a few moments here and there. Perhaps we shouldn't be surprised though as he wouldn't have joined if he was at the top of his game.

Players gave it their all but they're not good enough if we're honest. Burnley didn't even break sweat and won't have an easier afternoon all season. Another reminder of what a top manager Eustace is getting this poor squad around the top 6.

Both teams lacking a lot of quality going forward. That's understandable for us as we shop in the bargain basement year after year, but poor for that lot given the budget they have. One goal will win this.

Cornet would be a top signing if there's any truth in us being interested. Eustace did say he'd be open to another "Cantwell type" transfer and Cornet would fit that bill. He's very talented but has a questionable attitude and his career has stalled - same with Cantwell. Eustace would be the perfect manager to get his career back on track. Would he be prepared to take a big drop in wages like Cantwell did though. -

A good point against a very good team. What this team lacks in quality, it makes up for in resilience. If we can add a left winger, striker, and cover LB in Jan then we have a good shot at the top 6. Eustace is doing an unbelievable job. -

Solid team but we have to score first. Really tough game and a big test of our top 6 credentials. -

Not a chance McBurnie is coming here. Far too expensive and there would be a fair few clubs interested in the championship. -

Sickener but we didn't stand a chance with 10 men. Still, 6 wins in a row before today so we can't complain too much. It's a miracle we are where we are at this stage with a bang average squad so I'm very happy overall with our season so far. -

Not the type of game for Cantwell or JRC. Hedges and Brittain need to come on and we need to hope one of those long balls falls to Ohashi to run onto. -

Outstanding first half. Brilliant performance. Gueye has been excellent but I cannot believe he didn't score!
