  1. Some brilliant signs getting some screen time re venkys and pasha. Lovely.
  2. It is. But there's hardly anyone there. Anybody doing this will be a sitting duck labelled as an individual trouble maker. It won't make any difference. The players, the coaches, the owners. They are all a total embarrassment. And there's no way of it improving through anything the fans do.
  3. No, never been convinced it is worth it. My comment was to say that I disagree with the request being made in there. Not that I have any right to influence it, as a non-member. Just that I don't personally think it is helpful. Anyway, probably the wrong thread.
  4. I appreciate the sentiment and the collegiate approach. But "meet with us, talk with us, listen to us, and work with us," doesn't reflect what I want from our owners. If they did the above, which Venkys could suggest they have done on (rare) occasion through the years, I don't believe anything would change. Nothing. It is well beyond that being the required clear message. It comes across as a weak statement, at least in regards to Rovers and Venkys.
  5. Because he is a dreadful defender. He has been at fault for several goals this season, a season in which he has rarely played.
  6. Travis has been OK. Otherwise, every one of the midfield and attack have been absolutely fucking abysmal. Play the youth team players. We know all about players like Hedges and Dolan. Their time is very much over. What a farce of a football club.
  7. Out of possession we look like (rubbish) boys against men. In possession just like a group of strangers. It's horrific.
  8. I hear our fraud of a manager/coach/chief-hands-in-pockets-officer has been bleating on again about the team's energy and intensity and how that will set the tone of the atmosphere in the stadium. It would take an enormous shift from the team selections, tactics, energy levels and mentality set out in previous matches to do any such thing. He is such a bullshitter, this bloke.
  9. Sorry, I have missed this new one. Please could someone link me to it?
  10. Boom - yet another piece of "significant investment". We, the great unwashed, are so very fortunate. Glad he has signed, I think he is a decent player. We need much more than this just to 'stay still'. And staying still will actually mean continuing to drop down the league, of course.
  11. I'm out for a good while, too. I know its not as much as several others will have travelled but I'll have driven six hours and walked another to get there today. The team barely bothered turning up and the absolutely fucking appalling manager we've got couldn't be bothered to clap the supporters. I'm the fool. I won't be putting myself out for this for the foreseeable future. If a big protest against Venkys were to take place in Blackburn, I'll get there. But nothing more. Today was a harsh blow to my remaining loyalty to a club that doesn't really exist anymore. And it was emphasised by the clearly totally different environment, mood and spirit of Portsmouth FC, despite their own years of struggles. Our club, as of 2025, can't match up to anything like it. That was very sad to feel and that's on Venkys. I don't want to have any part of their business empire, anymore. I'm out. Now to drive home, still displaying my shirt. I'm proud of what it used to represent, nothing of today.
  12. The goal all started from Woodrow failing to close down the left back quickly enough. He is offering nothing at all
  13. Made it to Portsmouth. Arrived and saw yet another baffling lineup. Why do I bother?! Let's hope I'm proved very wrong...
  14. The bit that did annoy me in that statement was about the "two way engagement" with fan groups. As an outsider, this looks like a complete backfiring strategy, once again, of some 'fan representatives' holding conversations with Waggott/Suhail. If you keep doing this, you will be used, with your "engagement" held up in propaganda as wonderful positive work by our exec team. Those conversations are clearly doing more harm than good. Overall, the statement avoids the main (Venkys) issue and is exactly the bland and dismissive response that was always inevitable. Which, I guess, moves us to the next actions that everyone involved in the media push today will have prepared for. How do we move forward with this, and how can we all support that?
  15. It's going to be a vomit-inducing "we are all in it together, with you", perhaps with a bit of defensive talk about how Venky's keep us afloat, a sprinkle of "worked with fans groups to put forward a generous season ticket offer" and a dash of "will someone think of the players, they need us all working together to support them, not causing distractions in the media", bullshit.
  16. This is an interesting approach and I am genuinely grateful for the proactive effort. Assuming any response from those named will be to dismiss the request out of hand, what then? As that assumption is surely almost certain, I expect there is a plan in place for the "protest and unrest" that could have greater impact than previously? I appreciate details won't be shared at this stage but knowing there is a plan beyond the in draft communication feels very important to avoid bluffs being called. Thanks again.
  17. Anyone got any idea how far down the road this cheap and nasty can has been kicked, this time?
  18. Similar to @Herbie6590, I'm going to this one with an old mate who is a Pompey fan. In truth, if I didn't have the rare chance to catch up with my friend there, I wouldn't have bought a ticket. But I am now kind of looking forward to a game where there is (slightly) more hope than expectation of any kind of decent result. Opening goal is likely of huge importance.
  19. Just to say that, in amongst so much crap going on at our club, I really appreciate these updates on our loaned out players. You never know which of them we might become dependent on in the next season or two..! Thank you for taking the time.
  20. If we can send him back now, we absolutely should. He is a useless block to any of our actually contracted young players. The loan signings have, almost entirely, been a disaster.
  21. This is fucking abysmal. I think that's me switching off from Rovers, at least until the summer, but perhaps longer. The club is a mess - moreso now than ever before. I can't bear seeing it. The last few matches have been worth sacking this useless manager over. We know, of course, no such thing will be on the cards.
  22. Dennis is a crock. This was known before we signed him. It was a very foolish signing and use of our "significant investment". I'm still shocked, if not surprised, at how our new manager has managed to take us from the play off places to six points below it in just a matter of weeks. His appointment was just as bad as the January transfer policy (and the one before that, etc etc).
  23. Have we even led a game, yet, under this head coach? So far his appointment has been nothing short of disasterous.
  24. Lucky that Dennis is looking sharper and more focused, eh? Dreadful signing.
  25. I cannot see any evidence of what VI and the team have been doing in training. They've been a complete mess.
