Got ours..."four of us going...there's only four of us going!"

Cardiff were a better team than us last night, with a little more luck , and better finishing , they could have obliterated our somewhat lucky lead. Our midfield looked absolutely useless and until NEJ came on the defence lacked any organisation. If Toddy is to become captain he needs to improve his " Communication" skills!

I had great respect for Norwegian supporters until I encountered the embittered cuidado.

Confidence kapput, supporters ditto; playing a team full of johnny foreigners. Sounds like last week , so I'm going for the same score : Rovers 0 Liverpool 4. (" well", says Barry Davies, " the last time a Premier League side lost 4-0 on three successive occasions was ... I'll corect that, this is the first occasion!") -
Chelsea to score 5 (all pens: Duff (3) Triallist (2), Rovers 0; ( Todd sent off 2nd minute for having haircut likely to cause bleach of the peace, and Brad for Foul and Abusive language 11 minutes later. TV evidence later shows he said "Dang me , you are a frightful judge of what constitutes a misdemeanor " to the ref.

I sit in NO5 and occasionally stand to scream "USELESS" or some other appropriate adjective. It really annoys me to see OUR fans being picked upon both Home and Away for persistent standing when we see thousands of away supporters at Ewood doing precisely that in the Darwen End, and at Old Trafford etc. Just as an aside, I attended Youth game at Ewood last season when about 60 were present in the Blackburn End , lumbered up to the back row for the view, leant against the wall and a yellow coated jobsworth was promptly despatched to tell me that it was "unsafe" to stand. No adverts were covered -which is the reason given at the Rebok, nor was there anybody in the boxes! Doubtless we will all soon receive a missive from the Chief Security Officer telling us our lives are in peril if we stand , inconsistent application of the "rules" makes the law an ass..and we should be focussing on something far more important- the future of BRFC.

Clear handball in the area by Matty's best-man! The number of times the referee doesn't "see" blatant fouls concerning Rovers is a joke. Penalty at Southampton -not seen, Penalty for Southampton that no-one (including Beattie) saw, Handball by Saha-not seen, Now handball -physically deflected by player by raising arm :not seen. Paranoia or conspiracy..think I'll go and watch Sopranos..Big Tony would have a solution I'm sure!

Anyone notice the reported comments of Souness that " Only Wenger and Ferguson would turn this job down". I thought that was precisely what Bruce, Allardyce & about 28 others did do! -
Anything to get that blasted "hooligan" thread demoted:- How about "Sparky Marks' Blue N White Army".

I watched some of the game too,( So boring- kept switching channels much to some people's displeasure.) Couldn't help noticing that every crowd close-up showed someone yawning! -

..and Mr Souness would have appeared on the steps of St Andrews with his 5 year old son James saying " I want him to grow up to be a Brummie!" and " This is a massive club , one of the biggest in the world " ( even if they havent won anything for 60 years) -

What odds on us getting a penalty at St James's on saturday? -
Play 3 goalkeepers and we would still lose, biggest certainty of a home win since Noah was a lad! 4 :0 to Arse , all scored in first 30 minutes, then they conserve energy for their next testing game against Norwich!
-
Just being a bit pedantic , but if someone "indicates" that they are no longer willing to "work" for you , despite receiving wheelbarrow loads of dosh, doesn't that effectively break the contract between the two parties?

10,000 season tickets sold to date according to John Williams( in today's LET,) with 6 weeks to go . He thinks we will be "slightly down " on last years eventual total of nearly 15,000.

Love him or hate him..it's time to "Stand By your Man". ( Yes and I do agrre that Leicester yesterday were one of the worst sides I have ever seen playing in the Prem.)

I have never felt so disspirited by the actions of the club , and its representatives, on and off the field. Souness and Cole need to apologise for their actions. All it needs now is for some of our players to "forget " to turn up for a mandatory drug test, or for the lads to have a team-building exercise in a Manchester hotel which involves fire-extinguishers at 3am and pints of lager being poured into a concert grand!
