I don’t think the law changed, I think the Indian authorities just realised Venkys had been breaking it.

Can’t find anything on The Gazette website which means either things have been sorted (for now at least) or I’m shit at using their search function.

If the club didn’t pay it which we couldn’t do without Venkys being allowed to send money over.

Under FFP clubs can lose £5 million a year without owner input and £13 million a year with.

@K-Hod @Mike Graham The following is the part of the FFP regulations regarding owners ‘covering’ losses. Have you/could you ask SW whether the current restrictions in India allow or prevent them from meeting this clause? My instinct is they can’t because the courts are only letting them fulfil contractual obligations whereas covering losses isn’t (as far as I know) something they must do. Thanks 👍
