  1. And every time we think we’ve reached the bottom…
  2. My logic (if it can be called that!) is if there’s two of them ‘up there’ it’s more likely one of them will score. I guess it all depends on what, if anything, you’re taking away from elsewhere in the team.
  3. It could be that we’re both in the more and their owner is just being more vocal about it.
  4. I’d pick them now and they’re 53 and 50 years old!
  5. Unless it’s 51% or more of the shares I’m not sure even that would make it worth it. Otherwise in our case (and probably Wednesday’s too) you’d end up with: - no decision making powers and - shares which you’d never get your money back on.
  6. Given our lack of ‘cutting edge’ would anyone try having a second central striker? Maybe something along the lines of… Leo Hill. Carter. Hyam. Pickering Tronstad JRC. Wharton A Sammie Ennis. Leonard.
  7. Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun
  8. I think, for us, that’s a very big if 😁
  9. I believe this would be at the EFLs discretion - can you see them doing us any favours?
  10. Does the best 11 not need to take account of fatigue?
  11. I’m not sure that’s an absolute given and may well differ from loan to loan. I guess we’ll find out if/when the shit hits the fan at Wednesday!
  12. Winning the EFL cup has a prize of £100,000. I imagine we’ll get much more than that from our share of tomorrow’s gate receipts.
  13. Little Richard - Good Golly Miss Molly
  14. But then he wouldn’t have got the attention he was after.
  15. Surely he currently has a contract with Sheffield Wednesday - how else could they ‘insist’ on him turning up for training etc?
  16. Another one whose money seems to have come from being in the family business.
  17. I hope he’s not using AI 😁
  18. Thanks for the clarification. I wonder why (and I know you don’t have the answer) he would say that to you but not to the wider fanbase.
  19. Just be grateful it didn’t involve sisters…
  20. I think they’d get the same answer as Chansiri is getting… Two words, one of which is off.
  21. Waggott’s words at the time gave the impression the club didn’t think it was worth opening the BBE. I’d say this entirely different to the truth that we couldn’t afford to have the BBE open. I wonder if this is the disingenuousness @Mattyblue is referring to. If it is, I certainly agree.
  22. Did he actually say that or is this the conclusion you drew?
  23. Would it or would he just be owed money by Sheffield Wednesday?
