  1. It will be alright, just cough when the Dr tells you to…
  2. Of the non wins, did you note how many were draws and how many were losses?
  3. Why does not being able to afford it, being ill, or being at work count as an excuse - surely a ‘true fan’ would be there come what may (insert sarcasm emoji here)
  4. Thanks for the clarification - that makes much more sense (as someone who has had managers who couldn’t give a …😁)
  5. I’m sure you’re right that they’ve not spent the money on the pitch because they just don’t want to. I know it shouldn’t be one or the other but I just wondered at what point (if at all) people would choose improving the pitch over improving the squad. Id want at least a centre forward and ‘all action’ midfielder first
  6. It can also help if your boss knows that you’re wanted elsewhere
  7. Thanks for working that out for me. Seem like a decent offer then, only problem is if someone can’t ‘commit’ to attending until closer to match day (date for Burnley unknown, not sure if others could still be moved) Maybe a slight tweak would be that it’s £99 if you buy tickets to all five matches even if you do so ‘match by match’ They certainly are trying - that’s an improvement in itself
  8. Of course, but this is a far far better option than him wanting to leave because of a lack of support from above
  9. I’m feeling lazy 😁 - how much money does that save (for adults) vs buying on a match by match basis?
  10. ‘Feyenoord wants’ is actually (when you look at the reports) ‘JDT was on a list to be considered should Slot join Leeds’ (he didn’t)
  11. This is from the Leicester city thread but it got me wondering: At what point would you priories improving the pitch over strengthening the squad? For example, I’d not do so ‘at the cost’ of not getting a centre forward in but I would instead of improving at left back. Ideally of course we’d get all the players we need/want AND make the pitch better as well
  12. 100% with you on this. Although even some cursory research on our owners (even just a Google) should have had him questioning whether to take the job.
  13. To accept things are improving (gradually or otherwise) you need to be able to see that things are improving (and not just be told that they are/will) - nights like last night will certainly help with this. Long may it continue
  14. That all perfectly possible - it’s the linking (not by you) it to our improvement in form that seems confusing (to me anyway!)
  15. Maybe I’m misunderstanding what you’re saying but why would he make changes that he knows would improve us only as part of a way of getting another job?(rather than what he should be doing anyway)
  16. Clearly it depends on who comes calling but if he can see things starting to work here surely he’d want to continue with the ‘project’ That being said, he’s now seen how poorly run we are and might just want any ‘escape route’
