I laugh at the reduced allocation triggering that lot and 7k dingles isn't my idea of heaven but it does reek of hypocrisy when they'll give that number to Leeds and Sunderland. Both those sets of fans have more aggro potential than little old Bumley, yes they have a degree of plebs but most of those morons don't even attend the turd they just hang around their town centre looking for away fans to confront. If it was sales to ST holders only for them the majority are just ordinary fans like our lot but this club and Lancs police just cannot be arsed allowing the game to be what it should be, the showcase of Lancashire football.

Giles has been good for a spell everywhere hes been except here under the great Teeside Midtable man. I obviously wish him nothing but the best but the Giles scenario summed up how much Tony had lost the plot here. -
Surely it shouldn't apply to visiting fans as well if only ST holders can get them for the home sections. After suffering two big Coventry followings in the last 2 seasons and constantly seeing them slagging off our support, seemingly oblivious to the fact they have one of the worst % to population ratios in the country it'll be refreshing to see a more modest number this time.

The narrative has changed again from Waggots BS about it just being a crossing the t's and dotting the i's formality. Now it's it will probably go on and on for a while yet. The guy is unreal with his spin he hasn't got the first clue what's going on and do we REALLY think hes requested funds for a Jan window or is he just pacifying everyone before the usual let down.

How many times have we not fixed it because it wasn't broke only for it to break not long after when we couldn't fix it ? It's the most empty phrase in football. Strengthening is strengthening and it will be badly needed in a month or two guaranteed. -

Used to turn up in the Lion in Wheelton occasionally a few years back having a pint with Reidy, both top blokes who loved their time at Rovers. -

Traditionally the lowest crowd Saturday of the year in these parts and less than 1k at Sheffield a few days after 1.600 ish at Hull shows money is tight now. Wouldn't it have been the perfect opportunity to do a cheap ticket deal and get a few more in, especially with half seasontickets begging to be plonked in Christmas stockings ? The fans/town deserve better than the pillocks running the club who draw more more than half a million a year in wages between them. -

A couple of weeks is a while in football with the amount of games at this level, a shit Guye is now Big Mak again. A few months is a long time in football, Pears has gone from blunder in the waiting Championship version of Fettis to steady if un spectacular Champ version of John Filan. Development lads, development, it's what this team and club is all about right now as frustrating as it has been we are now enjoying the fruits of that labour and frustration. This gaffer and his staff is the best fit since early Mowbray and i sense his ambition is a notch above that regime. If only he gets a modicum of the backing early Mowbray had we could have our Championship version of Hughes. Please please pull some rabbits out the had in Jan and help this development club finally turn into and Ipswich/Luton/Brentford. Perfect performance today all things considered. COYB ! -

'A handbrake' what a belter of a description of him that's exactly what he specialises in, slam it on just before you freewheel out of control but keep it on when you need to take it off and blast up that back u that hill.

Number 1 he'd have to be told by the owners 'right Steve we want to have a real go at it in the next couple of seasons' If he isn't told that why would he bother with the hassle of trying to push them for investment and ambition when he's on such a gravy train at his age ? The whole thing of Venky Rovers is their middleman goes to India doing whatever he does, receives whatever financial instructions he receives then comes back and says right as long as costs continue to be managed by us and loses stay in the region of x and we stay in this division developing players the owners are happy with it. That's the top and bottom of Blackburn Rovers in this era. Waggot will never push upwards but will do what he can to prevent a downward spiral and that's what we see year in year out.

Was facing some real Prem quality to be fair to him and Woy's team weren't known for defensive solidarity, at least i think it was Hodgson who was boss at the time. -
That would make for a hell of an atmosphere and certainly help the team but those cretins in the boardroom - all 2 of them - couldn't give a toss about that. Easier to limp to your estimated ticket income however it comes then moan about lack of crowds and pretend they've done all they can.

Shipping out players from here who belong in league 1 then bringing in one or two who from there who are proven might not be the worst scenario. Still need to pay some fees though, Dack, Smodz etc the players are there if you're prepared to pay for them. Meanwhile accepting the likes of Markandy won't ever cut it at this level and clawing some money back is another avenue to go down if possible. -

Kevin Davies and the like 'forced' many a ball into the net ! It's exactly how you use a striker like him just put it in front of him and get him flinging himself at everything. -
Gregg must be a bit of a boot boy on the quiet then.
-
He knows more about 90's bands than he does about cheap football talent to develop. Perhaps he should spend his time watching live players in live games and actually doing some on the job scouting instead of swanning around training grounds relying on stat based recommendations from graduates with ipads ! Just saying.

We were saying the same about JDT and he brought something different and a change of mentality after the previous few years but that turned to shit. Eustace clearly has the best grip on this league and how to rinse what you have to best effect but ultimately even that will crumble if his squad isn't given proper help in the mid season window. And we've seen several times over what happens once a gaffer gets fed up here. -

Option 3. There's a reason John Park left and he seemed a man capable for sourcing decent loans so i wouldn't be expecting much at all. Best thing that can happen is if Eustace has had some lads scouted and puts them forward first. Anybody seen David Lowe recently ?
