He got done for nicking an ironing board. -
JRC just can't hack it in the middle, he looks unfit and if he is he shouldn't be playing. He should be nowhere near starting on Saturday. Hyam and Pears continue to be a worry for that game as well, Hyam was like a big pansy in the last one over there. Going out of this early may not seem like it right now but cold be a blessing in disguise with this thin squad.

To coin a fav Souness phrase that was a Keystone cops second half. Relatively comfortable to coming out in an effing cup tie at home seemingly wanting to sit on the one nil, multiple subs yet again throw it into chaos and hit by a double whammy. One that Blackpool deserved as they did the victory, who was the Championship club ? We are screaming out for a pacey winger, wing backs are rarely the answer.

I wonder if there has been an element of making up for the abject disasters he and shadow man over saw letting 4 players walk for nowt ? A kind of atonement for that after serious questions from the ownership, if you ask me Waggot and his MD have been going all out to prove their sell and replace with cheaper skills recently. -

'Trust the process' at Ewood has to be the most misguided advice ever. Never trust the ownership or CEO/Shadow directors mores to the point. I have a lot of faith in Eustace and his staff and John Park to be honest but the process from above repeatedly lets down our managers and fans. -

Cantwell probably wouldn't come here unless they threw big money at him but it would be a statement of intent if they did sign him. Might get a few more bums on seats. -
Think this'll be a good end to end cup tie i hope plenty get down there and create a bit of atmosphere. Blackpool fans are always the best vocally of all the local clubs who visit so we don't want it feeling like a home game for them. Rovers as per have done their best to cock the crowd up yet again with the ultra unreliable digital ticketing platform on the blink to phones. Proves my point for the umpteenth time that the race to digitalize everything in life is a load of baloney. Rovers 3 Lashers 2 9,375

Well no long term attenders often get a grasp of rough estimates of away followings in fact i think it's ingrained deep into most Rovers fans considering the crowd stick we've always got. Never over estimate a visiting support at Ewood is the golden rule, Burnley do that for us. -

At one time i'd be bothered about Buckley moving on but not anymore. That lad should be able to displace Travis or at very least he should be giving the manager a headache about him challenging Tronstads position. He just doesn't though so time to move on and bring someone with some worktate and consistenty. -

Yes it was very rough so for future reference half the bottom holds about 2500 so if that's about half full future guesses should be based around that. How anyone not on the WUM could look at c1200 and estimate 3 or 4 thousand is stuff of Burnley logic. -
I'm going against the grain here but turn out the kids and squad players, let them have a go then roll out the big guns off the bench if need be. I couldn't give a toss about who the next potential opponent might be to get Waggot excited i just want a fresh squad and result against that lot at the weekend.

There's also a startling difference between the million or so that has been spent now compared to the similar investment by the Egg in Leo, Telalovic and Ennis 😮 Someone at Ewood now actually knows what they are doing they just need the loons to be on board for once. -

30 million to cover 18 months running costs. India show your intention and stick just a few million in for players eh ! -

The instant worry even if the team is playing well is the keeper but to be fair TK had probably his worst game in a Rovers shirt last time there. Although a lot of that can be blamed on JDTs tactics and team selection. At least Barnes isn't there this time to bully Hyam. -
I just wish people could separate legend from cult hero status, sometime they are on rare occasions both but more often than not there's a difference. You don't have to have seen a player to know he's a genuine Rovers legend where as a cult hero you probably do. I guess Benno goes down in the cult hero status to a lot of younger fans and that's fair enough he seems popular everywhere hes been. I just think for anyone who has seen beyond the Venky era the bar at Rovers for these kind of accolades is very high. He had a habit though of picking needless fights on social media with the one bad comment in 30 whilst ignoring the good ones. That didn't sit well with me but he'll always get a round of applause for a couple of seasons decent efforts.

Not really taken any notice of what is going on over there but aren't they just trying to do what they did last time they dropped ? Rake in a load of cash to service debt and give their investors their annual chunk whilst garnering enough funds for a rebuild with less wages ? Worked like a dream last time but as iv'e said many times since to various clarrot trolls lightening never strikes twice. -
Short memories they have over there but like us it's the price you pay for having newbie/Prem fans who know no different. As for Pace it couldn't happen to a bigger #### after his various comments regarding us when we've played them.

That was a good win we are actually a football team who can now come from behind instead of almost accepting defeat when we go behind. Good character, effort and management in the second half and credit to Oxford who came to have a go and not let us settle in the first half. The stronger team, squad overcame their effort and won in the end which is the way it should be but won't always be. We've started the season way better than expected despite the usual ownership nonsense and selling half a team in the last 12 months. Keep the faith whatever happens next weekend ! -

By the way is it me or is this the most low key build up ever to one of these fixtures ? Must be early season syndrome and the shenanigans going on off the park at both clubs that has distracted, maybe that's not a bad thing. -

I predicted to a few of their gobshites who hound on twitter that this time around wouldn't be as easy and at some point financial reality would dawn as the hedge fund looks to maintain its dividends. That being said beware the wounded animal so we need to seize on any negativity over there and get amongst them from the off not sit back and shit our pants like last time. JDT got everything wrong in that one but i think Eustave should have more of a grasp on it. Get a goal up and see what happens, for the self styled most passionate vocal fans in the entire universe they don't half go quiet over there when things aren't going well. Massive game as always but it would just be typical for them to get it all together when we turn up. Clampets 2 Rovers 2 -
To fans over 30 yes it really is although he did a good job for a season or two and is obviously a good guy to have around a club. Player wise though he didn't offer much and the fact he was Mowbray's pet and seemed to be running the team for him at times didn't sit well with me. A polite reception he should always get but please nobody ever call him a Rovers legend to me.

His in game management based on this season and the end of last is much better than anyone we've had for a while.
