People are going to start getting the hump with Tomasson and quite rightly because yet again this is dog shite. We are here to try and get promotion not continually be someones pet project whilst them and their mates earn thousands. Sort it out man. -

Mola had a good game v West Ham reserves and a mare at Burnley so i wouldn't be rushing that one just yet. Season long loan then decide. -
I don't have a problem with Benson now hes been here a while and isn't a rookie coach anymore. I presume hes learned his trade a bit and i watch the keeper warm ups before games and it's thorough and professional. The issue for me was when he was stuck into the job in the early days probably because he was cheap. Having a rookie work with Rookie keepers was schoolboy stuff and he can't have brought anything to the table other than standard manual stuff. Now though the key was and is having an experienced quality keeper like Tommy K around. He'll have brought a lot to the party and that rubs off on everyone else the other keepers are training with a quality guy. Also not seeing Benson doing the managers job at times on the touchline is back to something a bit more normal. That was another of oddball Mowbrays oddball ways.

That's his logic though unless the Police have said make provision incase there is a lot turn up on the day. Prestons annual cup final after all, they bring more to this than they used to get at home in the plastic pitch era ! -

Waggot desperate to entice more away fans so hoping opening up the top will do the trick. -

We've been shite at set pieces for years especially corners but free kicks might as well have been just booted into touch. Smart move if you ask me and maybe the continental style coaches aren't strong on this so have asked for specific help from some who understand this league more. Nothing wrong in that imo. -
They are watching teams in the World cup do it and have been watching world class Prem players do it. So in great time honoured football fashion a lightbulb goes off in the FA and they recommend young players be coached into doing it. As a lot at this level are learning on the job then this is what we are seeing and it's being sold as improving them so their value is higher. All more stat driven bullshit keeping technical positions relevant and costing clubs millions more and it'll just lead to everyone playing the same. Individuality dying out characters dying out all in the pursuit of more robotic players coming through academies and straight into lower level teams. They need to learn how to mix it up a bit and also plans B & C but we tend to see more and more the same thing over and over, keep doing it until it works. Southgate is probably behind it all and if England win the World Cup doing it and Rovers ever gain promotion doing it i'll be ecstatic. And of course withdraw this post and my complaints, i'm not too worried about that though !

He's still got the all in one training ground on a cheap piece of land after selling the whole of the present set up on his mind. He'll go nowhere until hes seen that through i'd wager.

Hit the 4 mill or as near as damn it target then protect your own wages that's all that matters doesn't matter how it comes about. -

Roughly 13k home fans and 4.5k away is on the cards for this then and we can thank SKY as usual for their contribution to messing these games up for hardcore fans. Still the big day out for Knobbers but not so much interest for home fans outside of the usual attenders. £20 a ticket would still have seen a 20k crowd though even given the stupid kick off time and tv. That's how you re-engage and attract new regulars, the way it's done though just puts off all but the most keen fans but that penny never ever drops. Easier to fleece than to gather. -

You're damn right we'd love it but sadly the senior pros here hadn't got a clue what this fixture really meant, neither did the man picking the team. I think the penny might have dropped now though and i expect a nice rough ride for dumbo Barnes in the return fixture. Although got to admit Andy piss pot Payton selling knock off club gear on Burnley market then getting rumbled and sacked was way better laughing material than you lot are getting out of this. George Oghani stealing ironing boards was the elite bait though. -
He's happy because he thinks hes found the formula he was looking for - 8k will buy regardless of constant price hikes.

An interesting lunch time in Blackburn awaits this turd in the early spring. -
He's in the Ewood comfort zone with ready made excuses for all his arse covering. Said it at the time and plenty since the biggest balls up under his watch was not pushing the boat out after promotion from league 1. That summer should have seen a real push to get bums back on seats in numbers with a policy like Huddersfield and Bradford did in the past and Preston and Bolton have done recently. There's a reason they all did it or should we say HAD to do it, it's the only way in these areas without a Prem promotion to get a big influx of lapsed fans back in. Blackburn is even smaller and more notoriously hard to draw big numbers from regularly than those areas. Yet his squeeze what you have policy with year on year price hikes to pull us back into line with the upper end championship prices has lead us to where we are now crowd wise. All this done on a backdrop of a pandemic then cost of living crisis the man is a buffoon if he thinks he can grow support in this climate with his policy. Maintaining what we have will be the biggest challenge now. That hasn't gone well under his watch has it ? Best team in a decade arguably and home turnouts less than when Bowyer had us plodding around going nowhere. You have all the tools at your disposal now Steve but you still have no idea how to use them.

It's a jolly with a game at the end of it 😎

I know he'll always be associated with stardom at Man U and his national side but to me he'll always been a Rovers cult hero almost in the Speedie category. Brilliant old school defender knees knackered and strapped up, head arm ankles bandaged and whatever else, no pace whatsoever but nobody got past him easily. Not sure how he'd fare in today's game but he was perfect for us at that period in time.

Or you just got bigger ?

Well this is the extended break him and Broughton have been papping on about being much needed since the season started. So lets see if the appetite for success this season is really there. -
I thought they hadn't been too bad so far with all that made up for tv terminology bollocks so far. No way as bad as SKY etc who drop it in every broadcast as much as possible.

I'm told they had a lot of talent from the North East sent their way back in the day, kind of a first stop for lads from up there. Maybe Jack Hickson was it ? The famous talent spotter sending them to the Turd. -

Right that's the full week of official mourning done. Time to let this go and move on, hopefully it doesn't define or wreck our season but an all out performance against PNE is a must. -

We'd probably have ended up hearing about regular life in the 3rd or 4th tier though. -
