  1. They do it how it's supposed to be done though crisp quick passes yards OUTSIDE their own box. They also have outlets wide and up top for a long ball. What we try is schoolboy stuff by comparison. They can't go wrong this season imo as they have a bit of everything, what we saw today was some of the footballing ethos Kompany is drilling into them plus the odd drop of the Dyche direct physical style. B@stards !
  2. Good player but too lightweight and goes hiding far too often just like today but that can be a problem with loaness. Oh how we could have done with Van Hecke today his attitude was the exception to the rule.
  3. Middlemen on a very cushy number i'd say. Life for them at Ewood is a journey to their pension fund that's why Mowbray fit in so well.
  4. Sounds like the owners don't want to get out of this league they just want a gaffer adding value to young players. Mowbrays answer was stick them out of position to try and improve their weak points instead of playing to their strengths. JDTs answer is to get them playing in their own box and hanging onto the ball unless a backwards pass is available. Yet the owners hang on to better players resisting cashing in and allow money to be spent on Hyam, Brittain etc. NON of it makes sense. just who is so determined inside Ewood to put the brakes on and insist a water treading softly softly approach. One were promotion would almost be by accident instead of design ?
  5. It's the same ones trotting out the same shite as they always do. League position doesn't matter in games like today we could be treading water in midtable or pointless at the bottom. The general feeling would still be annoyance at what was served up today it was as insipid and self destructive as you'll see anywhere from anyone all season. The actual fact we went into it in second place with everything to play for makes it even worse. There's no excuse not to turn up when we are good enough to be in that position in the first place.
  6. This. Whoever is coaching that nonsense at the back needs firing into orbit even the tv pundits can't make any sense of it. Today its cost goals us again for the fourth or fifth time away from home this season. Pathetic and being 3rd in the league still doesn't cover for it because we look odds on to fall off a cliff again soon like last season. Once everyone has it sussed even the poorer sides will make us pay like they have frequently anyway.
  7. Absolute shock and of course their fans never even looked our way i suppose.
  8. Really struggling for words for that second half. Abject is the only one i can come up with. Seething is how i am and not because of the loss i expected that but the performance, the whole thing was the usual dire away stuff. Nothing whatsoever is being learned and as the season goes on and we play teams a second time i fear we'll see more of that.
  9. Keep BBD and take the hit the transfer fee in Jan would be pitiful anyway and will disappear in running costs. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to do a major retake. If he's gone in summer along with Dack then Broughton and Tomasson have some wiggle room to get some quality in. No point i can see in selling him in January unless some club is chucking 10 million in with a big dollop up front. Remember guys it isn't your money landing in your bank account, as fans we want the best 11 out there and give ourselves the best chance possible to finish as high as possible. To me that means with Brereton who over the last 2 years has become a vital cog in the wheel of how this team plays.
  10. Bowyer did well for us i'll always be happy to shake his hand or buy him a pint. His limitations were blindingly obvious though and along with Lowe etc his use of TC was one of them. Believe me he isn't the only one who regularly questioned Gary, what a waste of that squad.
  11. I think it was reported at the time as was the purchase of Gally at 3 mill with add ons to 5 mill. Safe to say that's where the Raya money went.
  12. Stereotypical Burnley hool toothless, self made tattoos done whilst in jail, about 8 stone wet through, vodka bottle in his back pocket, wants to fight everybody but only when he's backed up by about 50 others. Probably thought he was part of a mass pitch invasion.
  13. The Silly Squad are high tech these days i expect drones dropping bricks and laser guided missiles on anyone with a Blackburn accent.
  14. Please please price it nicely and lets have a crowd in for the young team who've helped get us this far.
  15. Of course he can although not surprising he wouldn't if they didn't agree to do the same. However the whole point here as always is Nobbers and Bumley don't have at least 15k home seats empty every home game. The supply and demand dynamics are very different taking that into account.
  16. I wouldn't expect a guard of honour nor would i expect people in colours in the town centre or anybody giving it large not to expect attack. Otherwise i'm sorry but that post is an example of the myth that has led to the overkill of this fixture. Just because some granny on her porch flicks to Vs at Rovers coaches or toothless family line the streets to do the same doesn't mean they want to inflict disorder. Please it isn't the 70's anymore, yes there'll be incidents but no need to terrify everyone to death who is going. Be sensible and you should be fine.
  17. It's Burnley not Beirut their vermin will be hanging about under t'culvert so that might be a bit ropey but otherwise most will just be mooching off home. Trolls live under bridges so avoid that and you'll be fine there's too much scaremongering going on with this now.
  18. We perhaps should start that side every midweek away game ! I agree with the gaffer about the boys being brave but that extends to him as well with his tactics there's nothing to fear in the Championship it's all about the mindset. That was there for all to see last night although it works better when your hosts think they just have to turn up to win.
  19. It's a big game and over 2k tickets sold but it's a mere sideshow to most locally based true blue and whites. Get down there with a young team and have a real go, whatever will be will be.
  20. Last time i went a bloke jumped out of the home section bollock naked and ran across the entire pitch like that heading for the Rovers section. He was rugby tackled before he made it but it's hard to know what his actual intention was, fight, attempt to breed with out of town bloodline, or just escape the shithole.
  21. Plastic glass tax - then suddenly it would be ok.
  22. £10 must represent a massive saving from what they normally pay down there so i expect the home sections to be nearly full.
  23. Never been a drinker at the game as always driving but gave up bothering with anything at half time a long time ago. Firing off 5 mins before HT and returning ten mins after has never appealed. Losing 10/15 mins of football every game makes the tickets even dearer.
