  1. No trains. The majority will still bus it there.
  2. 60/40 in favour of yes and if so i think we might have done it again because that side, Jack, the whole club were so hungry for success.
  3. Have we ended up playing this way to accommodate the likes of Morton and maybe protecting Ayala;s lack of pace ? I really hope not that would be such a Mowbray thing to do and we do still retain half his coaching staff who must have some kind of input.
  4. That's the only reason they've allowed no bubble for this.
  5. The owners obviously aren't bothered and whilst we blame managers it's probably them or their minions behind the scenes pushing these journey or project narratives. It's just bullshit covering over for the lack or any real desire to get to the Prem instead it's a plod. Happy to lose a certain amount every year but don't want it to get too much and affect other businesses. Meanwhile just let it carry on quietly whilst causing the least amount of bother in India and just play with it now and again. All the while some people in the middle running it for the owners are on a very nice little number.
  6. I like JDT i think he has something about him and i want him to do well, he isn't doing badly just ok and that will have to do for now. However i am disappointed he seems to be going over old ground and there isn't much difference on the pitch as time goes on between him and Mowbray. I was really hoping for fresh ideas and more drive and verve with more of a winning mentality especially after all the bold talk. So i understand the concern and frustration, yes it's still early days but it's a familiar pattern with lopsided tactics and players individual talents being overlooked in the pursuit of a dead end style. Never mind, when we beat Burnley he'll be the dogs whatsits !
  7. That's true and a refreshing change.
  8. We hit on a system last season that suited travis and one or two others but it was built on not dallying on the ball at the back and having an outlet with an inform BBD or sometimes Khadra. No sign of that now and this possession at the back game doesn't suit players like Trav. It didn't a couple of seasons ago so no surprise it doesn't now it did however suit the Evans's and Trybull's better. We only only moved away from it because they left but now we've gone back but don't have the personnel.
  9. Could understand it a bit more if the plan was balls over the top after drawing them out. No point in that though with the way we set up but if you want to go away and grind a point it's standard championship stuff.
  10. We'll bounce back in this one before being bullied off the park at Wigan as usual. Rovers 3 Millers 1 11,232
  11. Where is the high press high intensity the head coach has papped on about since he walked through the door ? You can count the times we have seen that on one hand and it has usually been against the better sides who sit off a bit and allow it. The way he sets up and the style he is implementing is anything but high intensity high press so either hes given up on that already or he doesn't know how to do it really.
  12. We've just got another guy who instead of looking at the squad, last season etc and seeing how to improve it, has just got several players he's trying to shoehorn in and drilling a system he wants instead of what suits them. We are also back to rotate and sub just for the sake of it.
  13. The style of play and tactics are the root cause of us subduing ourselves rather than the opposition but we've been here before. There is naff all urgency at Blackburn Rovers to do anything other than plod on.
  14. Szmodics and Hirst potentially replacing Dack and Brereton, hell fire 🤨
  15. We've gone back 2 seasons when we should be kicking on with new ideas, it's like that old goat is still here.
  16. Wouldn't surprise me if that is already in the pipeline and they'll get a minimal fee plus add ons and his wages off the books.
  17. 100% they are trying to force Dack out.
  18. Not when we are so skint we haven't and not on the back of 3 others walking for free either. We'll survive but it's an absolute travesty and it's a 7 million quid of young talent that'll be replaced by someone a lot cheaper.
  19. That was just a rerun of the old Lancs Cup pre season games over there which were always fun.
  20. Typical back tracking again i swear these lot take their prompting from the Govt, say something then do the opposite but it doesn't matter because you're only crunching numbers. Sun'land will bring 4 or 5k at least
  21. That's because the onus seems completely on finding young rough diamonds to maybe buy and polish up to sell rather than actually building a promotion side. He does look like a player who would be better suited on loan in the lower leagues building himself up rather than competing to start in an upper table championship outfit. I suspect we aren't contributing much to his wages that's why he's here, a cheap squad filler.
  22. Abbs is currently veering between the odd suspension on twitter/facebook 🤣 About time he got himself back on here he just needs to do as i do and keep out of the echo chamber !
  23. The win lose scenario to continue ? Probably but i'll go ... Cardiff 2 Rovers 2 in a surprisingly entertaining ding dong.
  24. Having been able to replace Lenihen and Nyambe with good cash buys plus the good young players we and still holding onto the likes of Dack and BBD imo we really need to be having a go this season. A load more will probably leave in summer and they'll need replacing with little or no money so i'd be aiming for the top 6 this season. JDT is a young ambitious coach and he's come into a club finishing 8th last season and been backed to replace some of those who left. They need to put top 6 aspirations before the need to get mins and value into players otherwise we'll never get near it.
  25. It was an odd one but someone at Ewood wanted him badly enough to bid 5 times.
