  1. When is a club the size of ours getting 25k in the mid/lower second tier after 14 years of nonsense and water treading ? Why isn't every city club in this lge who get 25k + NOT contesting the top 2 spots every season ????? People like you are deluded stop talking out of your backside and admit for once it's how the club is run and stop blaming the non existent 10k stay aways.
  2. I'd say he's probably the last person on here who has inadequate social circles, you seem to be casting aspersions after accusing the same thing. That is the problem with forums.
  3. Easily because up until now they've funded losses using as far as we can see company profit and not debt against the club. That's all Fit & Proper are bothered about.
  4. Jacks philosophy - Hire the best you can convince to work for you and pay them well, if it isn't working pay them up and get someone else. That was business AND football. With these lot it's seems to be hire the cheapest you can then go back on your promises, if it doesn't work leave them until they leave or pay them off on the clubs tab over several years. Surely their business at home must run on a different footing.
  5. A bit of research on Mrs D it seems she is the driving force and expert on the poultry business despite what we might think she's well clued up on that. I suppose a knock on effect from the old man means they are also surrounded by experts in their field and a look at shareholders shows there are all sorts of people involved including former high ranking military people. Sadly for us the younger one who saddled us with them and vice versa i assume is the Indian version of trigger from OFaH.
  6. People have already lost jobs through the down scaling, another relegation more jobs will be lost. Admin is the vehicle that keeps a club going whilst it gets punted on or liquidated. Blackburn Rovers will never be liquidated, do Bolton Wanderers not employ a load of staff anymore ? I thought they went into admin once and are NOT owned by billionaires now.
  7. Extending the early bird it would probably have been 137. On target to limp to 9k by seasons start.
  8. 'Procedural issues' Well what could that possibly be ? I think the clue is in the title, yes you can proceed as normal with the funding or no you can't you still need approval or a bond.
  9. Being the heads of a billion pound business and being able to syphon profits off over here propping up a football club they mostly ignore and leave a mate and a grifter to run doesn't necessarily add up to being great owners. The question is why and what they get out of it because it obviously serves them some purpose or other. That's the only way any of our fans should be looking at it especially now it's all come on top for them in India.
  10. The budget for this season is whatever is left after running costs are deducted from the instalments received and pending on the Wharton/Kaminsky/Raya sales i'd say.
  11. Different opinion and rows are all part and parcel on there particularly with the hysteria this ownership has created but it was more the blocking then running around laying blame for starting rumours on something that was already common knowledge that i object to.
  12. Like the detached reality in politics a guy who can jet over from the sunshine state to attend home And away games and thinks STs, before the discounts were cheap, really isn't in a position to be speaking on behalf of most of the fanbase. Don't know him but had some dealings with him in twitter land that didn't go well, basically if you don't agree with his keanesque take on everything then you are the problem. If i had to bet i'd say he's well in with a section of the Vs or their reps but that's just my opinion. I do respect he's a very avid Rovers fan though but one wonders how his opinions might differ if he was a min wage worker in BBwD with a family and mortgage. Catching the bus to games and having to weight up the cost of attending versus putting more food on the table.
  13. Supposed to be 'court' but it's a 'caught in the act case' instead 🙂
  14. We'll give them the benefit of doubt and say they are still processing a slight backlog !
  15. I hope they are looking at where a lump of the 200 million plus they've spent the last decade transferring has actually gone. There must be something at the centre of this investigation that has caused all this, not just a cock up buying a house.
  16. Club said 8500 in the latest tweet to advertise them.
  17. They aren't going to have 20 million sat in escrow and another 20 million in a bond account lying around waiting for court approval or whatever, come on that's a stretch to far. I'd assume that once the previous 11 million had been sent and receipts provided that it was used what it was sent for then the same amount in a govt bond account would then be given back or used as collateral for the next lot.
  18. An investigatitive journo would find out the real meat on the bones in regards to the Venkys funding situation but there are non. So the local journo can only churn out what the club tell him and assume it's gospel unless presented with evidence of otherwise.
  19. If he maintains the current squad and gets a few decent loans provided then Eustaceball will keep us up but it won't be pretty. Further decimation or no depth / decent replacements added then only luck will keep us up.
  20. Looks to me like the whole purpose of that particular court hearing is to say yes or no to sending funds whilst the investigation continues. Waggots version of events doesn't really tally....again.
  21. Yes the Wharton sale has bought them a bunch of time and breathing space and the August court date will be moved back to after the window, just watch. Then the Raya money and Sammie sale will be gobbled up in running costs whilst we are then told the owners STILL require court approval to send funds. Before we know it it's Jan 25 and a full 12 months since they last 'invested' in the usual way and we are in another window. By then we'll have cashed in c30 million plus in players plus other instalments and just like when that happened last time we'll be on the cusp of relegation. Lets hope Eustace is a magician and Park has a hat with a rabbit or two in it.
  22. It's just more cleverly worded spin, 'should' instead of 'will' and we know they can and have the ability to fund the club that's never been in question. What is the question is what possible technical or procedural issues could there be in court regarding this other than yes you can resume sending money as before or no you can't.
  23. We'll probably hit 9k by the start of the season so the club have achieved their objective of not decimating gates even further and covering for an awful season and more shocking examples of how to not run a club off the pitch. Arses are covered for another year and it hasn't cost them anything due to an extra few quid from the tv companies.
  24. Has anybody asked him what is job actually is and what he is actually going to bring to the club for i presume a nice salary ? We've had Paul Senior who brought nothing, we've had Gregg Broughton and we know that story. So what do you and the senior members of the WATR expect from this appointment beyond the old he's an ex player/nice guy/give the guy a chance etc ? Will he still be here in a year or two years time max ?
  25. You're all falling for Waggots latest deflection tactic nd it's name is Rudy Gestede the human shield.
