  1. Another week of the discounted rate could make all the difference but as usual the brains trust down there are asleep at the wheel.
  2. Dwight Yorke is the guy who tried to blame being chased by Rovers fans in a car for one of his speeding fines. Not really a bloke anyone should listen too given his overall track record on a few things.
  3. So not a massive amount needed to 'smash' through phase 1 of last season. 7k it is then.
  4. That was on the back of our best ever season in the Champ under this lot. Now I'm thinking in relation to last seasons struggles and the new tv schedule without Burnley expectancy to prop it up. We'll see, agree though an average of over 1k away followings every season is perfectly respectable all things considered.
  5. Probably a finance firm from Bolton bought a few thousand......
  6. I feel we now have a new draw specialist in charge so i expect that'll be the plan in a lot of games.
  7. That would suggest over 10k sold though, no ? I'm struggling with that tbh.
  8. Cardiff AND Swansea away on Saturdays that makes a change !
  9. Bloody hell Bumley and the other lot away early and close together. Away followings will be dire after that this season when no one is trying to get attendance to qualify for a Turd ticket.
  10. We spent millions on BBD and it took him years to get up to speed but he stepped up when ready, we spent over a million plus add ons on Sammie and it took him a season to step up so really a similar signing to himself should be coming into the building now. Building for the future seems to have gone out the window in favour of a return to cobbling together whatever they can 1 season at a time. Can we really not find a million or two for a proven lge 1 fwd who's ready to try and step up !
  11. Without fact checking i think by his age Sam Gallagher was on the books of a Prem club, had scored goals in the Championship and had moved for 5 mill and 15k a week. I might be wrong but drawing comparisons there is a bit of a stretch.
  12. Well i said that days ago an it ain't rocket science of ITK it's bloody obvious. This imo will be the toughest window in a long time, pin it.
  13. Well if they keep him and he has a decent pres season then he should really get a chance early doors and a goal or two might work wonders. If Eustace has a proper look at him and it's a 'no' then they can punt him on before the window shuts and at least get another body in i suppose.
  14. That's his level though that's why hes comfortable in there and still scores goals, was signed after banging a load in at B level. Another Nuttall we have here imo.
  15. The Raya money will drop just in time for when Vs usually tip up, the next Wharton instalment will be similar. They'll have structured it to be in line with paying the bills.
  16. 'He didn't get a full pre season with us' is the go to excuse mid season for the latest underwhelming cheapie or loan.
  17. It'll be non in till some out, the usual scenario. As for the agent thing it could well be true but at the same time these parasites are telling clubs their players are happy there whilst in the next breath trying to drum up interest so they can get a move or ask for a pay rise. Never trust a parasite.
  18. Clarke clearly isn't much of a motivator, a bit like Southgate. Hanley was excellent tonight.
  19. At least he whacked in about 30 for a second tier team.
  20. Yeah because the pair of them were lacking the physical attributes and neither were the kind of player that relished the bread and butter stuff. Both of them will fill out a bit and become championship regulars probably.
  21. Two thousand at least to be knocked off that i assume.
  22. Add them to a long list then 🫣 Unbelievably bad judgement that Wharton was kept out so long in favour of Morton but it seems Hull benefited from that the season after. That's the problem with basing the whole model around development but we did also have Bowyer leaving Tunnicliffe out for Lowe or sticking Cairney wide. Then of course Mowbray obsessed with Evans for too long then tells us higher quality signings had to learn from Smallwood !!!
  23. Main issue with Morton and the lad last season was their lack of physicality and experience but they are sent here to make and learn from mistakes and build matchday strength and fitness. We are a development club after all.
  24. 'Plenty of Bull Here' would be more apt for Venky Rovers.
