  1. Strike rate of 1 in 50 at best and the other 49 are always edged either way by him yet he still has his groupies.
  2. Right result this time but 2 scores a bit wide, never mind though that's 2 nil Jack !!! Bob Arum is boxings Joe Biden the only guy more cringeworthy than him is Fury's fat old man and his fake act hardman act. In the bin the pair of you
  3. Other fans will be saying that about Eustace here !
  4. £14 if you buy early before a certain time, they have their own Waggot tax there but at least you can stroll up to the ticket cabin and pay cash without getting penalised. Then they give you a ticket with a QR code on, you walk to the turnstile and the lad then tries to scan it with his phone. Often it won't work so he just lets you through anyway. Digitilization - The answer to everything the world couldn't turn without it, how did we manage ! A fantastic future of corporate greed and laziness whilst putting people out of work, sensation stuff.
  5. Dread to think what money their pals in the dugout and head office will offer them in the desperate operation stay in this league one more year and guarantee Steve 300k !
  6. No more than usual seeing as renewals have been done online for years anyway but penalising peoples freedom of choice at a club that will still only sell 9k tops is still pathetic. As usual with you and your ilk zero concern for the many perfectly capable of pushing buttons who still ran into various issues and delays with the system.
  7. Whose is that big Bentley parked up in Rishton with the Indian looking chauffeur grabbing 40 winks at the wheel.......
  8. After last seasons nonsense on and off the pitch - how many did we lose at home ? - and the prospect of more sales and little in the way of buys this summer then if we hit 9k again the discount has done its job. They should have done something several years ago to prevent it from slipping to 7k and instead boost what we had but this club and CEO are never proactive, just reactive - after a period of delay !
  9. Looked better on the scales so i expect Taylor to start better this time but if Jack can match him i think Josh will start to fade in the second half of the fight. The Chorley mon has to make it count this time and finish the stronger. I was wrong about the big one last week though !
  10. If that happened it would show just how much of a grip Waggot suddenly has on the club which is rather odd. Seems generating our own funds means he's in sole control.
  11. Condolences. Vascular dementia is horrific i witnessed it first hand 24/7 for 6 months in 2008, your mother is a true angel, look after her.
  12. Venus will be at a loose end now his mentor has retired but to be honest would he be any worse or better than Gregg ? Knows the club well but i think we'd be doing a lot more business taking Boro and Covs cast offs and Pears would get a new long term deal !
  13. Most large city clubs with hundreds of thousands on their doorstep can get away with charging more, they could also guarantee to fill their big stadiums if they did them cheap. We don't fall into either category sadly.
  14. Digitilisation eh @Blue n White Rover all about those thickos just learning to press a button....
  15. the 30 quid early bird brings them down in line with more sensible pricing looking at a lot of other clubs in the division. Only way to draw a lot more in is drastic cuts like Preston, Bolton , Hudds etc but that'll never happen here so at least this should safe guard against losing too many. And that's the only reason its been done, with the help of the tv money obviously.
  16. We'll have a better idea next month or so as don't they usually drop some funds in in summer ?
  17. He must sign them off but it's got to be a ticket office manager or commercial manager coming up with this shit to try and justify their wages.
  18. I'll bet Palace had us over a barrel after sensing the desperation.
  19. Yep we won't be able to outbid the likes of Oxford on wages the way it's going, yet another club with smaller gates than us.
  20. Transferring a valuable fixed asset off the books and using it as collateral for money put in. Gradually but forcibly dumbing down the wage bill and budget with only tiny transfer expenditure signed off. Streamlining the whole operation whilst using player sales to pay most of the operating costs and putting very little funds in. Using the income to boost the look of the balance sheet whilst using home grown prospects to fill out a third of the squad, down as future assets and potential profit on the books. Relying more than ever on loaned in players. Hiring various administrators instead of DoFs and putting another company accountant on the board. Now it might be in the realms of fantasy but if you were streamlining an operation to look more attractive to potential buyers whilst cutting your own losses............
  21. Aye it'll be spun up into 'well 85% of sales are done online already, people just aren't using the shop check out as they used to' Failing that a ten percent charge on every item anyone dare buy over the counter to scare people into digital transactions only !
  22. Yep incentivise don't penalise that just gets peoples back up and gives the impression of detached corporate greed and bullying. Iv'e never heard of anything so stupid to be honest as to try and fleece someone for buying over the counter, a counter which is already open and staffed.
  23. It's just the Rovers nudge unit steering people towards total digi tickets they'll try to ramp it up more as time goes on. I think they've done ok with most of the ST stuff considering we expected nothing but a price rise however the 10 quid charge is a disgrace. As iv'e said pop into the shop to buy something and renew/buy whilst you're there being served by a member of staff already on the payroll and be charged £10 more for the nerve of just being an actual physical customer in the flesh. Disgusting, as are the cretins who implement these corporate scams.
  24. Agree on Bucko i don't think he's a Eustace player and whilst i wouldn't have loaned him out last season i think his time here is probably up now. He's just a plodder who offers nothing much unless he feels like it, a player i'm disappointed in tbh because i think he could offer so much more. Travis offers more to the squad over a season.
  25. That will happen anyway if the club goes bust why do people never consider this ? Admin is usually the way to actually rescue a club and keep it going rather than just liquidation.
