The Summer Transfer Window (Press Submit)

Are they quietly beginning to exit stage left hidden behind the veil of investigations, fund freezes and Indian Tax laws ? Could we be in for a few years of cranked up managed downscale whilst they slowly sever ties i wonder. Wouldn't be surprised to wake up one morning in a couple of seasons time to see ownership has been transferred on Companies House from VLL to some new set up holding company with unknown Indian names and Big Barry. -
Two shields instead of one this time. So that's one to sack next season and on the season after by which time he'll probably be toddling off himself.

We just had a proper structure and it didn't work because nothing is allowed to work here so they've pulled it to pieces again because it's a convenient excuse to cover over the real problems. This IS NOT a proper run football club. -

More layers, more confusion, more money wasted, more people for Waggot to sack for the impending mess. -

But giving 10/20k a week to someone like Fleck makes sense i suppose because the suits are doing someone a favour. I don't see anything reasonable at all in me driving past Ewood and deciding to walk up to the counter where a member of staff is already serving and bleeping my card to spend 400 quid on a season ticket but being charged an extra tenner just because i had the nerve to walk in the shop and not sit in my car pressing my phone screen for ten mins to do the same transaction. You have a warped, some would say corporate, sense of reality. So the priority is to be a digital club first and foremost in a town like Blackburn just to allegedly save a few quid and put a few more staff out of work. All whilst spending a fortune anyway to implement the said structure, update it regularly, maintain it and pay the repair bill every time it crashes alongside the temp loss of business that causes. But it's ok it actually might pay for itself in a decades time. -
A Reading DoF is surely a no no, another big club that has gone backwards way too fast. Bowyers dad would be better, what does Gary know about being a DoF ? Ian Pearce - is that THE Ian Pearce ? Steve who ?
-
More like Paul Senior or Mark Venus

What familiar face could replace Broughton seeing as we haven't had a DoF before ? Looks like the old Tugay rumour is still doing the rounds.

Yeah lets put people out of work that's really going to get people on board, this is a 20 million turn over business not a corner shop. I mean arrogant people who look down on others less fortunate and have an attitude of if you don't like it lump it. Freedom of choice in something so simple as to avoid alienating fans from a club that bleeds them doesn't cost 26k a year anyway. Grow up and stop looking at things purely from a balance sheet, what about all this 'Community Club' stuff ? Peoples club my arse. -

The staff at Ewood can't click a few buttons FFS. And to be honest your arrogance and ignorance towards those who might not be able or just don't want to is quite staggering. No wonder this club is so detached from the town when it's only interested in appeasing your ilk. -
He/She/They will have to ask Nixon first.

We don't live in a digital era we are being pushed into to it suit the corporate technocratic govts who are owned by those with most to gain from it. We don't have to 'get with' anything it should be an available and unpenalised personal choice. -

To walk into the store and slap cash on the table and then be charged an extra 10 quid for doing so is disgusting but how long before serious penalty's get applied to physical match ticket buying ? I suspect the powers that be will want football to be a tv only sport by 2030 ! -

They obviously know the massive gamble and don't give a shit the Barnsley model is the one on their minds now. One this will all be over. -
Whatever we might agree or disagree with Mowbray there's no doubt he's a proper football man and bloke. Might be a bypass job in which case he should be well again after a good long rest, hes certainly earned it.

Like most things here under this ownership the DoF model is never going to work and it's pointless wasting money and adding another layer to replace Broughton. It only works if you let the DoF do his job, give him some budget and follow his directives OR you bring in a guy experienced in working with nothing and probably already a pal of the CEO. Otherwise it's nonsense and considering they've brought in a well qualified guy from Brighton under the title Football Administrator suggests to me they are following the cost cutting process and going back to dual roles. A bit like Venus being assist manager and some kind of DoF only this time it'll be Rudy learning the ropes plonked in between gaffer and Footy Admin guy/Waggot/Shadow director. -

So that is nearly a 50% budget cut over 2 seasons if true, just what the fuck is going on there ? Relegation is definitely the aim but we can pray the owners are beginning to ease their way to a sale i suppose. -

Following the same fleece what you have policy however Blackpool a bit like Wigan have a real limited fanbase, less so than us. We have the capability of getting a lot more in if it's done properly but the mentality here under Waggot has always been to squeeze us back into the late 80's early 90s's small town small time outfit. Managed decline, easier and cheaper to run, the man is and always has been a downgrader and the owners have now bought into it. -

Ah so back to the usual consultancy''s/ Agencies then i see. These people are so nauseating they wouldn't need to pay for that crap if they had a good CEO or Chairman a real football knowledgeable board of directors. Venkys Out ! -

I think they budget for around 3k average home match by match buyers over a season and that 3k will add up to more than another 3k just being on STs. Therefore i think he's quite happy with that and another reason they won't slash prices meaning nearly every matchday attender is a season ticket holder. Squeeze and maximise what you have has always been his personal mantra not speculate to accumulate.
