  1. You do realise this is a team that might be relegated on the day ? How do you think visiting fans might react to home fans in their section celebrating ?
  2. They can't seize assets over here so no, it was property in India that was seized. Probably just selling this so they can get that back.
  3. Been saying for ages why don't they sell that and use the money for the club as it's already in the country and it was buying that has caused some present issues in the first place. 5 mill will be handy in league 1 !
  4. More than likely he was just trying to spark a reaction from the crowd and maybe his team. Age old trick.
  5. Pickering is no better than Tommy Spurr and at least the excuse for his zero pace was age and wear and tear. Picks is probably the slowest full back iv'e ever seen so that's not a great qualification for being used as a wing back.
  6. Waggot just wants to make himself look good in the owners eyes so he stays in wages and bonuses therefore the opportunity to take extra money will be too much to resist for him. Yet again it's the perfect opportunity to give something back to the fans and rebuild the ST base by several thousand but they've passed up on every other opportunity and this will be no different. Boost income and manage costs is all Waggot has a remit and all he asks of a gaffer is keep us in this league, the most unambitious club and ownership in this league and that will ultimately lead to relegation at some point. Not sure how that makes him look good in the owners eyes we can dedeuce they aren't that bothered and his position is safe whatever.
  7. Awful recruitment utterly pointless waste of a wage but never mind he might cut it in league 1.
  8. We've blown it in the 'must not lose' winnable home games, we didn't lose some of them but didn't try hard enough to win. Of course if we do stay up then that looks justified but in truth we should be safe now by winning just one of those, a relegation is a totally self inflicted one there are no two ways about it. Absolutely no one comes out of it with anything positive to be said about them apart from Sammie. There is way more to it than just not being good enough.
  9. The Andy Cole story, the training ground shenanigans, the best bus in football lie and the fact the min attention turned to him in the stands he threw the players in front of fans and made it into an us v them situation. If non of that shows people the exact kind of character he is i don't know what does so with that in mind he'll be difficult to shift without some real pressure. If we get relegated and his head doesn't roll there should be all out mutiny.
  10. Despite being crap this season and all the negative stuff surrounding the club we still get 15/16k home fans for the ticket deals and big games. That shows the support is there and if only half those irreguler attendees were turned into season ticket holders that would improve things a lot on a match day.
  11. Not exactly a ringing endorsement then is it surely if you're pitching cheaper prices to Waggot and co it has to be justified by more than a shrug of the shoulders.
  12. Good prices but at the moment taking everything into account how many do we think we'd shift at those prices ?
  13. Yes they've missed every opportunity. Promotion from league 1 - X Mid table Mogga - X 7th place - X 8th place -X Just avoid relegation (hopefully) - ?
  14. Please tell me if anything stands out here ?
  15. No, we should do a season ticket deal like Bolton or Preston. The evidence is outstanding.
  16. Whatever opinion on Mowbray he knew how to handle stuff like that and i said it ages ago Waggot and the shadowman have been badly exposed for what they are since he left. Having a guy like him front of house kept the lid on a lot of things.
  17. Finally get an ambitious modern forward thinking guy who wants to move his entire family into the locality then piss him off to the point he ends wanting to buy out his own contract !
  18. I don't think a lap of honour is justified at all expecting fans to wait whilst they come back out the tunnel ten mins after full time. Embarrassing for the players as well when there is virtually no one left in the stands, a 'walk around' after the whistle is just fine this season.
  19. I was thinking we've missed a trick not getting him in when he was rumoured to want the job but just like the rest it would have been pointless unless he was some backing for a real plan.
  20. Remember going to a fans forum thing and although there were rumours at the time he and Woy didn't see eye to eye he said something along the lines of him being the best coach he'd worked with, called him a football scientist. Still speaks as high of him on the podcast.
  21. So Fleetwood is preferable to Championship BRFC.
  22. That's why hes dropped it in there and it was inevitable anyway they were always waiting for a huge sale before commencing any extra maintenance that's why its never been done. A few quid from a big Dack and BBD sale would have seen some done no doubt but they never materialised. The owners who never refuse a cheque and are exempt from FFP on this one really came up trumps again eh.
  23. About time we had a proper performance at home.
  24. Never that keen on Sherwood the bloke always thought he was a flash git looking down his hooter a bit back in the day and the move to Spurs suited him perfectly at the time. Really grown on me since though he really understands the town and club which is no mean feat considering some spend years around it and still don't. Could listen to him all day these days that's one of the best UtC podcasts, mainly because the 3 balloons kept their jabber to a minimum apart from Brown crying about Rovers fans as per.
