Let's just hope they aren't putting the squeeze on him then he gets presented with certain lists to choose from when he gets desperate for bodies. Freebie market should get moving now though so this week could see something. Seen figures of 3-5 mill bounded about on here as a transfer budget, now i'm happy to be corrected and hope to be proved wrong but I think some of the more excitable need to have a rethink on that.

The 10-12k are set to be squeezed to the max and on occasion unnecessarily jerked about again with some fixtures which doesn't go down well with some loyal fans. Fixture moving aside though did Burnley do it any differently ? Sad thing is we need their model these days ? Waggot = Increase revenue by whatever means. Charlie = Cut costs at ground floor by whatever means. Pune and partners = Still run the factory.

Yep good squad player that's why he might command some interest, personally thought he was decent at CH last season when he got his fitness back but I wasn't convinced in him in that position in the Champ. Hopefully 12 month down the line he's settled down a bit and will make the grade he'll be worth a few quid if he does. Probably a bit harsh expecting defence splitting forward passes from young lge 1 / Championship centre halves though ?
-
This has been happening long before Waggot so no point in pointing the finger at him I don't think. Yes he may have the power to overturn it but it seems he's prepared to run with it for now. Back to the games will Bolton and Wigan move the Leeds and Preston games to 12pm if they are scheduled for 3pm Sat's ? Will North End move the Rovers and Leeds fixtures if they were similar ? Do Preston have a higher number of arrests than Bolton or Rovers over a similar period ? Very much doubt any of this -- it's a cop out !

He did indeed he's always had a foot in the Rovers camp but times change and the way journos work has changed massively as has the role of agents since that docu was made. There's no conspiracy but he has a foot in some agency camps for sure and will obviously show favour to them and their clients when he has too. Along the way he'll still get the odd scoop but not so much Rovers unless his pals have a few people in situ which they still obviously did with Coyle.
-
Anderson and co dealt with Rovers as well before Venkys pitched up, think about it ?
-
Which bullhitter keeps linking players to Bolton ? They pay about 4/5k per week that's why Lowe has ended up there.
-
If Leeds aren't going great they'll bring around 3k for a 12pm which has happened a few times before, add in less home walk ons and the minimal in ground spend of ST holders who don't make it having already paid and your looking at 3 or 4 thousand less than might have pitched up at 3pm under the same terms. That's a fair old gamble with the finances but plays right into the hands of the 'safety committee' who want the least workload possible. It's a cop out whichever way you dress it up.

We can accept the TV changes as awkward as they are as it's been the same for years and sadly their names are over the door in football and the revenue is vital. Just changing to save the public servants a few quid and hassle is disgraceful. They are giving plenty notice this time at least although they'll be subject to change again. If Leeds are doing well and TV want it they'll probably insist it's Thurs evening !
-
So they move Leeds & PNE again but leave Bolton on presumably a bank holiday Monday at 3pm ? No way will that stay like that.

Pace like a what ? Turn in the hyperbole ?

We know Samuel isn't a regular finisher his career record shows that and it's unlikely he ever will be so what we need from him every game is graft and putting himself about using his size. He isn't, never was and never will be the complete striker that's why he was a league 1 sub last season and I think it was only the manager desperately trying to justify his signing that actually kept him involved. If a hard summer with a PT gets him stronger, sharper and more up for it then it'll be an improvement and he might come in handy over the season like last. Personally he's one i'd have looked to trade but it's not likely that'll happen so get ready for Samuel MKII.
-
No Rovers only sell players when THEY want to leave ......... apparently ?
-
If Adelukan ends up here we'll have to be taking a close look at who his agent is then i'm afraid. We've been quite good at taking ones who others want rid of in the past !
-
He's a dinosaur and about time he was extinct from this stuff but he has his agent pals to serve and probably a few bookies so he'll continue to spin his yarns whilst there's a few quid in it.
-
Down the years the goalposts have often moved where signings are concerned once the majority of ST's have been sold. However I still think this season it's mostly down to waiting for the freebie market to kick in.
-
Krapan and Lowe will have two storming games only next season if they are paired in the centre for Horwich FC. Guess which games they'll be ........
-
Correct there's been a long list recently, some even said Lowe !!!! I might make an exception for Gestede though because there isn't many around of his type these days and for someone like us even just for a season it could prove vital having someone who can plunder his type of goals in the ranks. I wouldn't be buying him and paying big money but a loan for a season would be tempting if the wages could be done in affordable fashion.

Trouble is that doesn't throw up the right kind of leaders it takes allsorts to make a good dressing room I bet. The odd character is fine as long as the boss is strong enough to handle him and the leaders keep them in check. The personality check would've certainly weeded out Orr and a good few others, Stokes for example but i'd think Murphy and Dahlin were good pros it's just how the hell their types got through the medicals and get the contracts they did that needed kyboshing, I think it has been now.
-
Half a mil was big money back in the day considering a million bought you a top class forward operator like Mike Newell. But yes it was a bit of a left of the field signing I suppose ?
-
It is for sure but like so many of his ilk if they aren't prepared to live the life then it'll catch up with them. A shame but unless he genuinely struggles with something fitness wise I've zero sympathy.

Freebies will soon be free of their present contracts.

Dunny leaving his role at Rovers
tomphil replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
He's the local lad Dunn good and that's always nice to see plus as a player he'd more in his toenail that most we've seen since. Bailed out when he went billybigstones and made a horlicks of it by choosing Brum, very unfortunate with injuries although some of his lifestyle choices were just that, his and that can't have helped at times. Loyalty has been a two way street really were he is concerned as after his bail out which Souness probably could have handled better although he was right in his thinking long term on how Dunn should play so they were always on collision course over that probably. He levelled it out a bit though when he came back after being sat in Sams office at Bolton about to sign for them then legging back over here when the call came. Good spells when fit under HUGHES and Sam made it the right call for both parties, woefully underused at times under GB for whatever reasons. . I'm sure he's had other offers at times as well but overall Rovers have been very good to him due to his local roots and high esteem with the fans. He's given a lot to the club at times but he'll have done very well thankyou out of it as well. He'll probably be back sometime in the future anyway. -
Supporters Consultation Meeting - Thursday 21st June

Or a moving walkway at the front on the stand so people can still face the pitch and watch the game whilst they exit from one end to other. They might stay a bit longer ? -
new senior management team
tomphil replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I think there was a bit of a moving of chairs under the trust once over, nothing wrong with a bit of delegation but can't see much changing to the outside world. Interesting though as mentioned before that Gandi Babu's name has cropped up when most of the time it's just been a name on the directors sheet but nobody knows why so a bit more clarity is always welcome.
