  1. Yep cleverly deflecting everything and now playing off players against the fans.
  2. It's about the here and now and when you're on the slippery slope to relegation you have to pull out all the stops not stick your head in the sand hoping everything clicks and it blows over. I feel he's a bit guilty of that even before the latest mess unfolded beyond his control. Too many similarities on and off the pitch to the Coyle season i'm afraid.
  3. Of course the weakening of the squad has been a problem all season but to continue in the playing style we do just hoping it comes off now and again has also been a problem there's no getting away with that. We are getting too caught up in the victim mentality and feeling sorry for him. He simply has to adopt a style with the players he has geared towards grinding out points and he should have done it way before now certainly in particular games. The teams below us should't easily be taking points off us but they have been and some of them are awful.
  4. This is exactly the situation now.
  5. Someone said Stuart McCall was seen at Ewood the other day ? Probably nothing in it but if so that is clear preparation for league 1.
  6. Come on there isn't that when we've won games i'm a JDT backer but hes come up sort this season badly at times.
  7. We've been losing at home with alarming regularity this season and it's the same pattern and problems ever time iv'e never seen a manager repeat something so many times when it's clearly costing points. Even old Tone altered things a bit in death spirals.
  8. He has to change it up it's ok saying he's throwing his hands up because hes lost the only man that can do it but he has a squad of players now. So pick a god damn formation that suits what he has the development BS is out of the window now it's operation survive and pick up points however they come. If he doesn't try and adapt instead of crying it's obvious he's only interested in his own narrative.
  9. Radio Lancs and the LT invite football finance expert to read the official club accounts out loud then say ;that doesn't look sustainable' or 'they've lost more than they've made which means they need more money' Groundbreaking stuff.
  10. They hear it all the time though last season it was Reading six months ago it was Sheff Weds and before that Brum and Hull. Difference here though is it's the same ownership for a decade and this stuff comes around every few years but it's amazing what '20 million a year' will cover for. Unlike the other lots above these have kept the club going to cover their crap up but can't do that anymore so suddenly the ignorant football world and journo's are faux shocked.....'what's gone wrong at Blackburn' !!!
  11. There are just way too many layers at Rovers and with this ownership back in India it must be absolute chaos and that's before you factor in a lack of ability or braincells. Under the last ownership the business was twice as big yet got by perfectly well with a basic board of directors and staff with i think one go between in the void between club and Trust fund. I doubt any other club of this size in the UK has as many cooks spoiling the broth. A CEO, secretary, operations manager, DoF, finance director, Head of finance, then 2 more with similar titles in India before you even get to the 4 owners. Yet all we are doing is signing frees. loans and kids and a 2 million transfer is hardly ground breaking. Oh and whoever else agents/advisers etc who are involved in the process, its crazy 8-12 people potentially involved in what 3 or 4 should comfortably be doing.
  12. That money could well have been used by the bank to guarantee the overdraft for the next 6 months.
  13. One now, next in 6 months and next year was the instalments i believe. So earmarked for running costs and unless it's been swallowed by the tax bill or something else. There'll certainly be no re-investment from the best player we've produced since Dunn and a record transfer fee. Brentford model of course.....
  14. I don't think money availability on their side is an issue yet although it could be before long but they sent 11 mill and had to secure it by holding another 11 mill in an account apparently. So they have to go guaranture probably with personal money for every amount they send now allegedly. There'll be a limit to how often then can provide that.
  15. Nothing against him but way too lightweight for centre mid in the Championship at this point. The time has come to put results and survival before growing players for us or anybody else it's partly going 100% into that philosophy that has led us here. No amount of verbal tripe from JDT or GB can convince fans otherwise.
  16. Buckley won't be ready for a while but they'll probably rush him back and he'll get re-injured. Point is though he'll be better in the Wharton role than Moran ! JDT really is just going to have to change things up though and leave the style that has made a major contribution to an awful season.
  17. It's a well worn call to arms of course but we need to get down there and get behind them and save any shit until the end preferably. This team cannot handle that kind of atmosphere they struggle to handle a good one so the last thing we need from the off is more nerves. Tomasson can help this by setting out a more solid set of tactics and team selection and stop giving opposition the freedom of our final 3rd for once. I tell you this though if Moran is starting centre mid i'll be starting the car at 2.55pm !
  18. Perhaps these two indicated the finances were there in enough liquidity at the time to get the deal done then realised it wasn't ? Theory number 76 More likely they are taking the rap for India if they are being shunted out when really the issues were at that end in terms of communication, or lack of. And what of the new Venky finance guy that was recently put on the board but resides out there is he anothe layer becoming involved who hasn't got the fist clue what he is doing ? Quite likely i'd say.
  19. It's classic deflection tactics this when you want to cover for something. Put out a load of different stories implicating a load of different people and possibilities then people run off down a lot of different rabbit holes. Meanwhile something and someone else is at the centre of it. Truth is we are skint the Wharton deposit as predicted was instantly bookmarked for a few months running costs. the signing of a load of inexperienced borrowed lightweight kids easily goes through. Then there are two guys on short term frees who barely have a game between them in months. You don't do this if you've any budget at all this window compared to Mowbrays last Jan window are night and day. All those he signed then struggled or made no impact at all so what do we really expect of this lot. This window more resembles the panic bodies for the sake of it with no budget Coyle summer. We know where we were heading then and i'm bewildered fans don't see what is really going on here.
  20. They didn't use him even when fit to harness it not even bringing him on in games we were losing so pull the other one. As has been done to death there'll be very little profit in this fee after paying him a settlement etc so it's time that myth was put to bed. As for the other deal the guy agreed everything then after it was pulled then supposedly back on again the agent tried it on as they do and Broughton seemingly bent over and greased up. Loan fee then price went up and a load of add ons, come on now if those figures are anywhere near correct is absolute madness. Guy is a mug and the Ennis thing stinks of an agent getting a guy in here with the intention to get him fit then punt him on again quickly, we've seen it before. A 4 year contract on c10k pwk is a 2 million pound commitment it isn't a punt at all and the only people who have benefited there are the player and agent. The ones who most definitely haven't are Blackburn Rovers but GB has manged to cover his arse on that one. This Orlando deal though and the Leo one have exposed him and god only knows what wages he'd agreed to pay the lad after he was only on 1200 dollars a week. Sorry but it's probably a good job we don't have a budget if this cretin is in charge of it.
  21. No wonder the players agent held off Weds and came back to Broughton on this, what was seemingly a reasonable deal for an unproven prospect turned into a Grabbi style piss take. He had his pant pulled right down and just agreed to it, no wonder the paperwork didn't get sent. Food for thought here in regards to GB when you look at the Ennis 4 yr deal and double wages for a known crock then the Leo signing and fee. The guy sounds like a right mug and maybe he's the problem and someone down there is trying to stop him agreeing to all these crazy terms. Wonder if he's on commission....
  22. Nixon really is a Venky stooge. Living wildly beyond our means you fat blimp we have one of the lowest wage bills now and have sold 23 million quids worth of players before add ons in the last few months. Reason we are in shite is the Indian overloards getting in hot water with their own authorities and not paying the tax bill over here. Hull City just lost 21 million but sold 15 mills worth and invested 8 million back in. We aren't living wildly anywhere you berk we are just run like a corner shop as we always have been by these idiots.
  23. Like last time it's gross incompetence or deliberate there is absolutely no other explanations now. Deal off/on etc can't be the reason because they went and did the media to announce it so some imbecile needs the door opening and their arse going through it on a one way trip.
  24. Head Coaches should be easier to change than actual managers as they don't run the football dept and just work with what they are given. Probably why many champ clubs are going down this route however it also creates a myriad of other problems as we are finding out. If JDT went the very best you could expect would be only his right hand man going with him. Whoever comes next will work with the same coaching.fitness staff that is already in place unless any chose to walk. Another downside to the model but a cheaper one for clubs.
  25. Perhaps the finance dept in iNdia were expecting Gallagher out to cover this and when they heard that wasn't actually the case the plug was pulled. Left arm, right arm, massive time void between here and India.
