Very true and they don't take money out as we know about so whatever their reason or advantage is to owning such a loss making overseas enterprise it's more likely down to just number crunching. By definition of not having to put in 18 million though they have actually deprived the club of that income so it amounts to the same thing. The Wharton money should come on top of annual funding as additional income to put the club in the strongest position its been in finance wise for a long time. Could literally fill the squad with academy kids and loans then and the wage bill would be rock bottom, Riverside shut, training ground let go. Reduction in income but massive reduction in running costs and easier to produce and punt on young players for champ clubs. Agree There'll be more player cashing in in summer by them anyway so the club might be able to wash its face for this year, aside from any huge tax bill of course. So no better time to put it up for sale and at least test the water.
