  1. Less likely because of point A, we have enough assets to sell for now.
  2. So it looks like if that's the case then hes agreed and why wouldn't he its no skin of his nose it's not a criminal trial just a routine hearing.
  3. I'd say it's impossible to owe that much without serious action being taken on the club before now.
  4. I'm sorry but how the hell do they run up a 26 million tax bill that's an outrageous figure and basically we'd have been in admin before now. Nice planted excuse though to cash in on what players you can....
  5. If that court date has been put back it's because its been agreed by all party's. Why rush when you know you can force the club to generate its money via a player sale, this is looking like another stitch up. I hope i'm proved wrong.
  6. It probably went straight to paying off the tax bill and borrowings they'd taken out via the other company that owns the training ground.
  7. That guy at Sheff Weds ? Although i think they had to pay him 30k a week !
  8. They just never ever seem to learn do they.
  9. There is an already set reason/excuse now for the entire fee to go into the financial black hole with only wages being freed up. However in terms of FFP and freeing up some funds on the clubs books for re-investment Rovers have been short of one huge sale for years. Should have been Dack but he got injured, should have been BBD but that was a monumental cock up and aside from this lad there are no others on the horizon. But the timing, surprisingly...., is all wrong again both football wise and money wise unless you are Waggot of course.
  10. Companies house will be the first alert of it probably because once it's on there you at least know it's true.
  11. It it's a team like them committing that much then they entitled to want an instant player. Your Spuds, City's and Chelsea's of the world might do the loan backs but non will want him at that price there comes a point in these negotiations where if we want the money we can't dictate all the terms. It's called trying to have your cake and eat it.
  12. Sell and we'll get nothing to replace him with and may well go down and this will take the blame. Keep and something goes wrong in the future, we remain skint and go down now or next season anyway, this takes the blame ! Damned either way unless they get 20 mill plus and damn well find some for quality investment straight away.
  13. The loan back will put many off if they are paying that kind of money.
  14. Speaking to a Bolton fan tonight and mentioned our Monday game and that they'd sold the whole end (which Bolton only did like once in the Prem 🤣) And even he said their a bunch of clowns that lot but that's the Holywood effect for you. I don't include the 3 or 4k real Wrexham fans in that iv'e nothing but respect for them.
  15. That's two towns and a whole borough versus one town or small city whatever it is. The Wrexham urban area is pretty similar.
  16. Because the bigger clubs sign these kids, give them a few appearances then factory farm them out on loan back in the Championship.
  17. The general opinion iv'e seen from Palace comments is he's a steel at that money and they should go to 20 pluss add ons and beyond. A lot of excitement from them because they've been crying out for Hodgson to sign young talent.
  18. That's why i pray the Indian authorities alert the UK and ask for an investigation over here with a thorough look at all transactions.
  19. Similar to what i mentioned earlier about the pitfalls of a skint ambitionless club turning down big bids in a case of more jam tomorrow ! Sir Bradders of Dack being a prime example.
  20. 15 million with 5 upfront and some guaranteed add ons that could to it to 25 million is sound business for this club. I don't for one min want to sell him but these lot will balls it up anyway down the track if he stays you can almost set that in stone.
  21. I think that might be down to neglecting the basics of defending and defensive set ups in favour of trying to improve them on the ball and pick the next pass. Coaching probably geared to that to try and make them look better footballers than they actually are when really they are still in the development stage as actual defenders and still need defensive drills and set piece work as their core training. I'd say similar with the keeper dept. It's all about trying to run before you can walk with this regime.
  22. Sadly he probably isn't up to speed with the English lower league revolution of total football starting from the keeper !
  23. As with a few others it just seems the extent of the recruitment is to use the usual clutch of club friendly agents so it's hardly revolutionary scouting. No doubt some connection between Broughton and some of these will come to light at some point.
  24. Except all we did was give them games and two of them improved immediately after leaving here despite stepping up a level. Steele was awful at Sunderland and shunted off to be Brightons second third choice to fill home grown criteria for several years. Steele was average at best here then went backwards, Kaminski was going backwards last season after being good and Raya ended up being dropped forcing him to want out. And in the case of TK he was always decent that's why we got him and if we hadn't he'd have gone somewhere else at a good level anyway. There is too much history being re-written here in regards to past keepers and the real question is had any of them stayed would they be as good as they are now ? I think we know the answer to that, all this club is now is a shop window for anyone with potential if someone else gets hold of them.
  25. Crewe fans sai the same about Pickering in fact he was probably rated higher. For an initial 500k signing for us i think hes been decent enough although certainly no more he hasn't exactly kicked on and turned into the several million pound player he was touted as. But, as with Markanday we can't expect much for half a million although that hasn't dawned on big Barry yet.
